I stayed here with my husband and another couple for the weekend and will definitely return. The location of the hotel is just off Dam Square and central for everything. We arrived early and left our luggage in the hotel where a free safety deposit box was provided until our room was ready. The staff were very helpful with tips...

rooms and staff were both okay - nothing outstanding but rooms were nice and spacious (we got upgraded twice!), the perfect location made up for it though! would definatley stay again because it was safe and quiet yet a 3 minute walk from the square.

This was our second time in Amsterdam. We liked this hotel's location. The breakfast is fine, the bed were comfortable; the room was clean; and the staff were business like. However, the room was small; the bathroom facility was not convenient (but functional); and the staff could need a little more smile for the price we paid. Furthermore, with many...

I've stayed in the hotel during Easter. Location is perfect, in a central but quiet zone. Breakfast is ok, with choices enough to begin the day. I would definitely stay again in this hotel if I return to Amsterdam.

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
