Our room was just perfect. It was not small whatsoever and the bathroom was a perfect size too. Our view was beautiful and the hotel is close to a lot of places. The city is very small so we walked everywhere. On our last day we rented a bicycle from our hotel and it was a really fun experience. I...

The location in mid Amsterdam (see details in others' reviews) is what you may dream of, especially if you stay few days - and we found the deal in very reasonable price. But then if you have some luggage, you must take a cab to get there (no parking area for rented car, no tram is close enough to carry...

This hotel is very near Rembrandtplein, where there are lots of dining choices. We stayed here for two nights and it was a great choice for us. The room itself was small, and the bathroom tiny; one could not even sit on the toilet without moving your knees/legs to one side or the other! Bed was too soft for my...

We found this hotel expensive for what it offered. It had a good location and was quiet enough, but the room quality did not match the price. Carpets, walls and curtains had many stains. the bathroom was not clean enough and there was no curtain for the shower, so there was water on the toilet and on the floor after...

Great location and not the most expensive hotel in Amsterdam BUT boy is it in need of some refurbishment. Threadbare carpets and dirty walls. Peeling wallpaper - and that was just in my room ! Staff are fantastic and the FLO restaurant is one not to miss. Needs the owners to get their wallet out. Clean this up and it...

Considering the cost of the hotel I was expecting better than I got. I had booked the Eden Hotel which was lovely, but it had merged with the Hampshire Hotel at the back and that was where my party was put. Whilst the rooms weren't too bad, there were stains on the carpets and the curtains smelled like they hadn't...

The Eden is in a central position from which you can walk easily to all the major attractions of Amsterdam and the hotel is also close to a range of good restaurants and cafes. The staff, especially the concierge were very helpful.
