Good hotel with excellent location just 5 minute walk from City Center. Nice rooms and quiet at night. Breakfast buffet is a good combination from local and international. Good access to public transport and bike rental place just 2 minutes away. Underground parking opposite hotel...More
Great hotel with perfect location. The downstairs is being renovated so wasn’t as plush as usual visits but our room had same good quality. We were given a room with a view by one of the staff, Sara, because we had returned for our anniversary...More
Fantastic stay here for 2 nights. Location is fab. Staff were welcoming efficient and really lovely. Rooms are clean and beds comfy. What more do you want from a hotel. Don't hesitate to book you will not be disappointed x
When we arrived the reception was a building site with no proper check in desk except a large table in the middle of the foyer. There was no proper bar or restaurant facilities except an area upstairs called the breakfast room where they served over...More
The Ibis is currently being remodeled and the location couldn't be better if you’re arriving by train and planning to take a cruise that departs from Amsterdam. The hotel is literally just steps from the train station and the ports are just a short walk...More
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

It is actually very easy to get to the hotel. You can take the train directly from the airport to central station. From there you can take the exit on the center side, turn right and you will walk straight up to the hotel. Maximum 5 minutes walk. This would cost around €5 per person, taxi single way would be around €50/55.
