Very good hotel close to central station and city center (Dam Place). Room was small but very comfortable and clean. Towels were changed daily. We had a great view over canals. Bed was comfortable. Bath was small but quite clean. Poor selection of cosmetics.
A very friendly, comfortable hotel. Excellent choice for breakfast, room clean and adequate for a short stay. Restaurant rather limited choice but food of a good standard.
Reasonable hair drier in bathroom but towels not particularly large or fluffy!

I recently spent 3 nights in this hotel attending a conference (the meetings were held elsewhere). Generally with an Ibis hotel, you know what to expect -- the rooms are the same, the bathrooms are the same, the decor the same. At this Ibis that...More

The eastern edge of central Amsterdam provides visitors with the chance to imagine the city that Rembrandt called home (and to tour his historic house) while shopping like the thriftiest of locals at Waterlooplein’s massive flea market, or even enjoying a craft beer beside the tallest wooden windmill in The Netherlands. This verdant, serene, and stately part of town is home to Artis Royal Zoo, one of Europe’s
oldest (and still best kept) zoos, and Hortus Botanicus, one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world. It's also an ideal setting for the Dutch outpost of St Petersburg’s Hermitage.
