Just returned from a 3 night stay at the concert hotel. We were given room 5, the room in the garden. The room was lovely and spacious, had a fridge as well as tea and coffee facilities. The room was a little dirty but to be expected with a room that was inside an out house. The beds were really...

The room was very small.. But the rooms are clean & neat, full points for that.. The staff at the reception was helpful.. This place is very close by to Van Gogh Museum & the "I AMSTERDAM" Installation.. The Lift only operates till the 3rd Floor... You have to take narrow stairs till the 4th floor... So try to take...

Pretty good hotel. The rooms were very nice, clean and modern looking. Just in front of the hotel the tram passes so it's very easy to get to anywhere. Staff were really good too. Dnt know about the food they offer as I didn't eat there.

I stayed here one night and booked a single room. The room was right on the front on the main road. The window is a single pane thus you hear everything from the street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The room itself could do with a vacuum or three as it was very dusty. The walls...

The hotel is really nice in a great area, close to Heineken Experience area. It's easy to go to/from Centraal Station and is a nice area. The beds are really comfy and the shower is amazingly good. The only thing is that there is no box in the bathroom so it gets all wet. The staff is nice and breakfast...

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
