Well situated on quiet tree-lined road. A little out from the centre but nearby tram takes you quickly to all the main sites. Room comfortable, breakfast good and staff friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Amsterdam.

This hotel is charming and well worth a visit. Although the rooms and bathrooms are a little small, they are clean, well designed and the decor was perfect for an older style theme. Unfortunately we didn't have an opportunity to relax in the bar area but visually this was also spotless and the all aspects of the decor was perfect.... More

We booked a last minute trip to Amsterdam and we were lucky enough to find Apollofirst! Great location, comfortable, cozy, beautiful courtyard and friendly staff. One of our all time favorite hotels. close to the park, shops and the tram. Bikes available for rent. Fun old fashioned bar.

Hotel is beautiful & clean and all the staff were really lovely and very helpful. The hotel does not offer meals other than breakfast which is a shame as it is in a quiet location with not a lot of facilities around it. The tram stops are very close providing easy access to all the main places to visit.

We booked online, taking our chances from the plethora of hotels that came up during a search. We were very happy with the hotel from start to finish and can certainly recommend it for cleanliness, comfort and style. We liked the heavy curtains in our room, which obliterated all light, and the efficient air conditioning - as well as the... More

We stayed 4 nights at this comfortable hotel. It is conveniently located around the corner from a tram stop. Our room was clean and spacious and had a good, modern bathroom. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious, with a wide choice. Only slight disappointment was that they don't have a restaurant for evening meals.

I took my husband here for his 30th birthday. Its great the rooms are clean and spacious, the staff polite and helpful. Its only a stones throw away from the tram stops which take you direct into Amsterdam central and is close to some great restaurants. If you want to be in a nice quiet area this is perfect away... This boutique hotel is very quirky and charming. It also has a theatre (although there were no performances on during our stay). It has an impressive courtyard where you can sit and have a drink on a warm and sunny day. The staff were very helpful and informative. Our twin bedded room was compact but perfectly adequate, with tea/coffee making... More

Excellent location close to the Museumplein and trams, while still being on a quiet street. Rooms were quaint and well-appointed, including safe and small refrigerator. The staff were very helpful with from lending us umbrellas in the rain, to providing a vase for our flower purchase. Elegant breakfast room with a good selection of foods and self-serve espresso machine.
