I had a very warm welcome including a room upgrade to a suite. When I got to the room there was also an offer of a welcome drink from the bar along with complimentary nespresso machine. The bed was the most comfortable i have slept in for some time in a hotel. Service at the hotel is the right mix...

Excellent location for getting about Amsterdam. The hotel itself is a marvellous friendly place with a fantastic team of staff who make the stay feel special. The restaurant "Senses" is a must for a great eating experience (see separate review).

We had booked directly with the Albus based on the Trip Advisor reviews. On arrival we were upgraded, the hotel has been recently refurbished and we were not disappointed, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, exceptionally quiet on the 5th floor. Massive thank you to the staff who are all amazing so friendly and helpful particularly Sofia who gave us great recommendations...

Jonathan and I were so lucky to have been invited to stay at Hotel Albus Amsterdam during our honeymoon! Some would ask, is this recommended for couples after their wedding? This hotel has a nice location as you are just minutes away from museums and other iconic sights. Their beds are extremely comfortable and this is what you exactly need to...

Stayed here in June 2016- Hotel was clean and closer to attractions. Rooms were a bit smaller and the biggest downfall (I believe being updated) was the lack of air conditioning. Keeping the windows open only let the bugs in. Would stay here again if air conditioning is added.

We stayed at the Albus Hotel Saturday night and whilst it was a bit noisy outside with a number of late night hot spots nearby, the hotel was excellent. The staff deserve praise for being so courteous, friendly and thoughtful. The hotel is within walking distance of all the Amsterdam cultural spots and is a nice rest from the hustle...

I had a lovely stay at Albus, very good hotel room, friendly reception and welcoming. The only minus was the croudy streets at night time, it's city center but there was a lot of sound coming from the streets at 4-5 at night. Guess it will be better it you get a rom at a higher level than 2 :-)...

Found this hotel on booking.com website, it comes up as one of top 4 star hotels close to centre of Amsterdam, this is absolutely true, great location for touring around This is a great hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful, it has 77 bedrooms which means it's fairly quiet as well, great for a quiet get away, but...
