2 of us stayed at hotel Nadia on the top floor. The stairs are absolutely horrendous, but you're in Amsterdam so there's no avoiding it, plus the staff carried our luggage upon arrival and departure so that was really helpful. The staff are so lovely, really attentive and care about your stay. My only complaint would be the size of...

Stayed here for our anniversary. It is in a great location. As you enter next door to a cafe you are faced with a set of extremely steep stairs - so be prepared (!). This is quite normal and to be expected in these old establishments. The hotel bedroom is small but has everything you need. There was even a...

Great hotel located centrally within Amsterdam (not far from Dam Square) or Anne Frank's house. Beware of the 37 step staircase which greets you upon arrival! Our room was very small but comfortable and suited our needs for the two night stay in the city. The staff were very helpful by changing our room preferences upon arrival and offered a...

As stated the steps are steep but adds to its character, rooms are small but if like most you wont be in the room long as you will be out seeing the sights. Location is perfect, walking distance to most of Amsterdams highlights, the church bells can be a little annoying if you are a light sleeper and the road...

If you don't mind roughing it or you're on a stag night this may be fine for you. Booked for 2 nights in Jan 2017, mainly due to the good reviews on Trip Advisor. I seem to have had an experience going against the grain of reviewers in general. On booking in we were advised that we had been upgraded...

First of all the location was very convenient - 5 mins to the Dam Square, 15-20 mins from the central railway station, red light district. Be ready to steep stairs and no lift in the hotel. But the staff was very friendly and helped to deliver luggage to our 4th floor. The room was rather small, oldfasioned and with courtyard...

My particular room was quite small, barely fit me and my bags. Had a lot of issues getting a stable internet connection away from reception. However the room was clean, breakfast was very filling, though limited on selections (Bakery and cheeses) Be careful on the stairs, they're narrow and incredibly steep

Rooms are tiny, ceilings wonky, loud at night because of the location, wifi sucks - there are about 6 different ones, but all suck at different hours. We got a deal with breakfast buffet, which is croissants, breads with different jams and cheese, little yog pots. Filter coffee, orange juice and tea abundant, also a small stash of Nutella :)....

The location was extremely convenient - close to several attractions (Dam Square, Anne Frank House) with easy access to two Metro stations. Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was a bit basic (bread, cheese, croissants) but sufficient. Access to the hotel is via a very steep staircase and there is no lift (although staff are happy to assist with...
