As part of a Uni trip to Amsterdam we were given this hostel, and upon checking pictures online I wasn't expecting too much. We stayed for two nights, the rooms and in room bathroom were clean and basic. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was very nice. The wi-fi was slower in the rooms than in the bar/reception. The...

I could stay in this hostel again. Very nice front desk people and great bar / breakfast service. The rooms are just ok, It is a little far from the city centre, but the good part is that you can walk and know Amsterdam's beauty =)

A perfect very low budget place for large groups of teenagers. The youngsters can't be too noisy and annoying = no complaints. Big bar/play room and a very noisy disco in the basement. Check in and check out a bit slow.

The room is simple and clean enough for a week end trip. People are really nice and there is a bar and a club which is really cool to meet people. The only thing I can say is to warm the room, we were a little bit cold. Otherwise, the hostel is perfectly located ! Really nice trip !

Dear Hans Brinker Hostel Amsterdam, This is a complaint directed to Booking.com and Hans Brinker Hostel Amsterdam. Me and my 7 friends were between 24 and 28 February, in Amsterdam Holland and we had a booking to stay at Hans Brinker Hostel with 4 double rooms with private bathrooms (Booking 1530770464). Unfortunately, the hostel made an overbooking and they only...

Its a good choice for young and reckless people, planning to stay only a few days in the city. It is one of the cheapest choices there but at least a breakfast is included (not that impressive food but still..). The rooms are tiny with no furnish. If you are planning to wonder across the city during the whole day...

I'm really sorry to hear your bad exprience. Could you maybe please contact us, to explain it a little bit more, because I think there is some miscommunication in this situation.

All staff we met were helpful and friendly; the receptionists, bartenders and cleaners. The facilities were decent, it had a big common room/bar/food area with what appeared to be some decent drinking games and it also features a mini basement club which is pretty cool if thats what you're going to Amsterdam to do. I know that it's a budget...

Only spot where I could find a bed in a (4mixed) dorm for a Saturday night in Amsterdam. Room and bathroom was clean, staff was helpful, breakfast was included. + : Pricing, close to the centre, backyard for smokers - : Loud announcements for events, like happy hours
