Stayed here for 3 nights. I had a nice stay. Rooms are clean and quiet, but small. Staff is very friendly and ready to answer all your questions. Very close to the city centre and station. Breakfast was ok.

This is the best inn I've ever experienced, the staff at reception are so kind and helpful, they really make sure the customer is happy. The breakfast has a nice variety (considering how cheap it was) and I was lucky enough to meet some lovely people in my dorm, if your reading, please book tourist inn!

The tourist inn is the perfect place to stay when you here for a night or two, good situation close to everything like train station or buses. The room we rented was a bit small but clean and everything was functional. The staff was really helpful too and look like it's really safe place !

It is very decent hostel with nice staff. It is clean and well maintained. Beds are basic and could be more comfortable but it was ok for a few days of stay. WiFi is free. Breakfast is great. Location couldn't be better! Prices depend on a time of your stay.

This is a lovely very clean and smart hostel, the rooms and communal areas are cleaned daily, all the rooms have lockers for personal belongings. There is a area downstairs for refreshments, breakfast and internet usage. It's walking distance from all the popular attractions. The staff are very helpful and friendly, I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to...

Had a very enjoyable time in Amsterdam! Hotel was lovely and very clean! We had a group of 5 and the only faults we found was the slim stairs to go down however lifts were available and we didn't mind the challenge of the stairs. However the stairs may be problematic for those who are trying to take luggage up...

Close to central train station, trams, museums, red light district, and shopping. Tiny stairway challenging with luggage. Staff helpful and friendly. Good breakfast buffet, but lacking fruit. Free WiFi also in the rooms. Bunk beds comfortable.

When I look into a hostel, I'm looking for different things than I am when looking for a hotel. Chief among them, does this place create an environment to meet other travelers? And secondary but nonetheless important, is there an electrical outlet next to my bed so I can easily charge my phone securely? Finally, is there a place to...

Yes it's cheap and yes the location may be amaaazing but really when a hotel in ANY city advertises that it has parking full details should be given. We were lead to believe that the parking was on site and then when on booking-in were advised that the parking was offsite. No big deal BUT we weren't allowed to drive...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
