Me and my wife stayed here for 1 night (thank God it was so short). I think its the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. It was very expensive for what you got. €150 for a double room. It did actually have a double bed in it which was comfortable, but the rest of the room was very small...

Stayed here for £115 for 3 nights with breakfast over new year; didn't have very high expectations as our priority was just to get a cheap deal but the hostel was actually a pleasant surprise. The rooms (10 of us in two 5-bed rooms), showers and bathrooms were very clean and the beds really comfortable with thick duvets. Never managed...

Had a quad room for first night but your own ensuite was across the hall!!! Moved to a twin room and these were spot on and would recommend and the breakfasts were ok ! Don't think I will return to Amsterdam but if I did would book this hotel again.

The hotel has a nice location. It has coffee shop near it and some "girl windows" on the back of the street, keep that in mind. And as everything in Amsterdam, it's quite narrow. It's not so cheap, but nothing in Amsterdam is. There is a misleading information over the internet that are are smoker rooms, as there is no...

The hotel is nice, the staff is very helpful and the rooms are pretty much the same as you see in the photos, the only thing I did not like was the bathroom, maybe because I had to share it with other people. My experience was in the rooms for 6 persons and I was lucky because I share it...

Small rooms, noisy, no hot water in the morning, there was no wi-FI connection in our room. Location is perfect, very close to the Central Station and city centre

Organised a little catch up with European mates, a bit last minute and found 4 beds in a 6-bed dorm for £35/pppn. Welcoming staff, clean throughout. Toilet and showers are shared but clean. It wasn't too noisy. Breakfast was ok,nothing crazy: toast, cheese, salami, boiled egg, jams etc... coffee and tea. Check out the red light window on the side window...

The price is not cheap at all. The main reason for choosing this hotel is its location, only 10 min walk from train station and the hotel has an elevator because we carry heavy luggages. It is really not easy to find a hotel in Amsterdam with this price and have an elevator. Surrounding area of the hotel is safe...

I stayed at Tourist Inn for 5 days at the end of August, and I must say that yes, it was crowded, but the place was a really cool cozy place to be. I paid €30 a night, slept with 5 other strangers but nice people, and I found the place to be all around a clean, safe, and comfortable...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
