Best hotel during our nine night Europe stay. Great hosts, great beds, awesome location in an amazing city. Really cool finishes with view down to street below. Could walk right into the heart of town in five minutes.

Unbeatable location. We walked literally everywhere from here in our 4 night stay. With everything you need on the doorstep, the fact that there are no eating facilities within the hotel really doesn't matter. There is a small stocked mini bar (included in your price), and tea/coffee making facilities too. The bed was incredibly comfy and cosy, and the bathroom...

Chic. Hip. Comfortable beyond comfortable. The graciousness of handwritten notes in the suite, a perfect Italian red, just the right lighting, generous drapery to block out unwanted light. The convenience of keypads for entry. An unparalleled location. Generous amenities and just the right mix of old and new. Super dank u, Merel & Susan.

Hotel IX is located in just a few blocks from Dam Square in Amsterdam. If you've ever been to Times Square in NYC, Dam Square is sort of like that on a much smaller scale and without the billboards. There are a ton of people and different modes of transportation. That being said, go 2-3 blocks away from Dam Square...

Great place to stay in central Amsterdam. The rooms are fantastic, plenty of places nearby to eat and drink from breakfast onwards. Not a traditional hotel as there is no front desk but Merel and Susan were easily contactable before and during the stay and could not have been more helpful. Would definitely use again.

The hotel is within walking distance of all the places we wanted to visit. Plenty of places to eat and grab a drink nearby while the hotel is in a quiet area. The rooms were spacious and clean and quiet. A great place to stay.

We stayed in the Runstraat Suite for two nights and are so glad we did. Firstly the 9 streets area of Amsterdam is a really great base to explore the city. You can walk to a lot of places and the trams are easily accessible. The area has a lot of great bars and restaurants and is generally much nicer...

This property is really wonderful. The two ladies who run it could not have been more helpful as well. The "rooms" are beautiful, well appointed, and comfortable. The bed was REALLY nice. The location in the nine streets area is ideal. This will be a place I will return to when in Amsterdam. The building is historically significant, having housed...

Hotel IX is located in the Nine Streets area of Amsterdam -- a place filled with local shops and restaurants -- and is within easy walking distance to the central Dam area, which is tourist central. It's also close to the many canals that ring the city, and just walking around the area is enjoyable in itself. The hotel is...

A very nice place to stay in Amsterdam, comfortable and nice staff. We liked the interior design and the size of the room. And the location is absolutely super. Maybe it would have been nice to be able to have breakfast in the room. But all together a great place.
