This hotel is overpriced for what it offers. You are paying for the central location. The rooms are quirky amd clean but small. The breakfast was poor for the nightly rate. Very poor choice and selection

So if you're a person who likes a big room with all the amenities this isn't for you. The A-Train would again be my choice for a short stay in Amsterdam. The location is directly across from the central train station where you arrive on the airport train. When you arrive Check- in is easy and fast. The front desk...

We booked the top apartment for our family with two teenagers which was perfect. It was spacious with a kitchenette and dining area, with the boys bedrooms upstairs in a loft. The inclusive breakfast was a good way to start the day & the staff were very helpful and friendly. It is a 2 minute walk straight across from the...

Just a short walk from the main station and you will arrive at this hotel. Very close to the sex museum and not far from the red light district at all! Bring comfy shoes as Amsterdam has a lot of cobbled narrow streets.. the staff are friendly and they have a 24 hour receptionist.. if it's raining they will lend...

A lovely comfortable hotel. Staff kind and helpful. The room was basic but very comfortable. We both slept very well. Guess it was the amount of walking we did. The breakfast was good. A nice selection and the best vending machine coffee I have tasted. It is so easy to get the train from the Airport and arrive almost opposite...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
