You get what you pay for @ Bob’s. Comfortable sleep in the mixed dorm. I stayed for 3 night with a friend and we had no problems. Perhaps the showering/wc areas could do with a clean but overall, good value for money. Would stay again
This place was definitely not as bad as the other reviews stated. It's location and the friendly employees are what give this place its stars. The rooms were clean besides for the bathrooms. There was only one incident which made me a bit uneasy. Even...More

Never seen anything like it in my life!! Mice in the rooms the showers do not work and the staff are creepy let them self’s into your room. The floors are disgusting, filthy! Shouldn’t even be open to public. Unsafe!!
Prior to our arrival my friend and I were reading reviews about the hostel and weren't too excited to see what was awaiting us! We were both pleasantly surprised. You get what you pay for at the end of the day, we weren't expecting anything...More
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
