I liked this campsite. Fresh bread croissants in mornings. Toilets cleaned regularly. Has fresh herbs growing for you to use. Showers good. English speaking reception staff. About a 20 min walk to tram which takes you to Dam centre in 20 mins.

out of the main season this is an excellent campspot. In August - Summerholidays it is totally overcrowded and the toiletes look sometimes messy until the next morning where the staff always clean them nicely- goood on you .. but even when overcrowdet this is still good location near the lake and somehow close to town. I really love the...

We spent only one night in the campsite with a tent but the little time we had there was great. Located near the water, it's beautiful with a bit of sunshine. Peoples at the reception we're really nice and friendly when we arrived. Also we rent a bike directly in the camping and it's only 15minutes from the main city...

Some of the staff at the hostel reception area were very rude. I asked if I could please poss get some help pitching tent as having problems, had slept outside in cold. Guy starts smirking like its funny, goes on about how busy they are in a rude manner like I was expecting them to drop everything which I wasn't....

There is a lot of space: you can chose where to put your tent and car. You can use a little kitchen and there is also a fridge! Sanitary gets cleaned 2 times a day. In the evening you can have fun in the restaurant/bar and if you need food or other stuff, you can buy it in the store....

The campsite location is quite good. There is quite a nice festival atmosphere there. The male staff in the reception area were slightly unfriendly. I was short changed on three occasions when buying from the shop and a camping place. Luckily I noticed at the time. I would like to think it was an accident. I did have the thought...

We stayed here for five nights in April in our campervan. It's a good location for visiting Amsterdam which you can walk or take the nearby tram to. Good facilities with restaurant/bar, shop and several shower/toilet blocks. Staff very helpful. As we were self catering, we only had one meal in the restaurant and it was very nice. Lots of...

Third time here but my first time camping, the site offers good facilities, accommodation and a location well out of the city itself to relax after a day in the dam. Gets busy on the weekends so quiet hard to get a good spot but is a popular place for many travelers in a warm and freindly atmosphere. The bar...

I highly enjoyed my stay at the campsite in June. The facilities were clean, staff were friendly and downtown could be easily reached in 15-20 minutes by tram. Despite being an affordable campsite however, the prices in the bar and shop are relatively high, and is worth noting given that there are no other shops nearby.

We originally thought it was difficult to get to the centre but the friendly staff showed us that it was actually quite easy if you take the right trams. The campground for our tent was quite small but was well maintained. All facilities were excellent, including wifi and the on site shop. Having a night guard at the gate made...
