We stayed in the Amsterdam Hollywood in late April. Its a little further away from the Red Light District than some of the other Amsterdam Escape apartments but the location couldn't have been better. Out our window was a lovely quiet canal, 2 minutes from RLD, main shopping area and Dam Square. Mind you there was a crack head asleep...

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Amsterdam Suite for three nights. The suite has one main room with the jukebox (very cool), tv, video games, mini-fridge (stocked with beer, sodas, cookies and candy), a small dresser and a double size Murphy Bed. The large beanbag lounger was the perfect spot to chill out and watch the canal and horse-drawn...

Having found Amsterdam Escape as the number 1 recommendation on Trip Advisor I booked it for a business trip with my wife. We were booked into Amsterdam Tiny (AKA Amsterdam Sweet). On arrival we were surprised to find the office in a cellar with piles of rubbish outside, my wife wanted to leave immediately but I persuaded her to give...

Wow, what can I say? When researching for a site to stay for 6 guys coming over from Canada, I stumbled upon AmsterdamEscape apts. What a lucky find. Brendan and his crew were fantastic in helping to get us our reservation and reassuring us that their accomodations would have everything we needed. It sure did. We went with the Coke...

We definitely recommed this place, but I am not sure it's quite what some of the other reviews I've read say it is. This might be because we were in the smallest room on offer which had a bed which made an awful lot of noise every time you made a tiny movement. Staying here felt more like staying in...

What a find..... A+++++ We stayed in the Amsterdam High and the Amsterdam Den. Both fantastically decorated apartments, both very different, Sounds corny, but it has absolutely everything you need for a fab time, you don't actually have to go outside!! I will deff stay here again and will be recommending it to everyone going to Amsterdam

Where do I even begin? Amsterdam Escape Apartments so exceeded any expectations I could have had that I know I won't find the words to say how wonderful the whole experience was from beginning to end. Let's just start with the team who runs the place--Brandon, Emmett, Dee and Giuseppe. These people are the kindest, most helpful, just great all...

I probably shouldn't be writing this review because I loved this place so much, I really don't want the word getting out about how amazing it is! I want to keep it all for myself. We stayed in the Amsterdam Sweet (or Tiny) which was bascially a one room apartment with a hideaway bed. The room was immaculately clean when...

We had a wonderful time at Amsterdam Escape. Our apartment, Amsterdam High, had everything you could possibly need for an excellent stay in Amsterdam. As everyone else has said, Brendan was great and we really appreciated his recommendations. There is a bakery and grocery store right across the canal which makes getting groceries easy. The location in Nieuwmarkt was very...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
