Tried to check out from 8.45 PM the evening before I had to leave because of an early meeting. Unfortunately it proved impossible to get a hold of any staff before 8am the next day (an hour after I should have checked out). I tried calling the after hour phone they had listed on their door for such circumstances, but...

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for 1 night earlier this year as part of a mini cruise to Amsterdam. It was in a pretty good location as we could get to everything easily, but we didn't enjoy the stay at the hotel. We booked the budget room so we weren't expecting anything amazing but it failed to...

I stayed here one night. First, do not make any reservations through their own website, it's much more expensive (about 120 € /night !!). When you book this hotel, do so, if you are traveling for instance with friends, intend to party, avoid taxi costs at night when back from clubs or bars and be a lot outside and not...

this was an awful experience. the room was approximately 12' x 12'. the twin beds had to be pushed together to fit.the mattress was equivalent to a futon. there was a closet but only one door would open in the space available. there was no room for a bureau so our bags remained unpacked and shoved under the bed. the...

This has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in -- basically it is a hostel that pretends to be a hotel and charges high hotel rates. The rooms are tiny and the hotel is located right next to a VERY VERY LOUD NIGHTCLUB that will keep you awake until 4 a.m. on weekends. Unfortunately earplugs...

If you're looking for a place to lay your head for the night in amsterdam, you can't go wrong here. Brilliant location to set out and see the sites. I stayed here with friends and we found the staff on arrival helpful and friendly, the stairs up to the bedrooms are brilliantly steep, we felt privallaged to be staying in...

I was really concerned about staying at this place having read all the reviews on here! But I have to say, weighing everything up it was good value and I would stay here again. Hotels are expensive in Amsterdam so I think for the Waterfront you are really paying for the location. It is in a fantastic central location which...

It was our second visit to this hotel and this time we had a room on the top floor with a tremendous view over the Singel Canal. Yes, the stairs are very steep and there are a lot of them to the top floor but this is what it is like in any value hotel in Amsterdam. Anyway, you only...

The only thing that was a bit of a problem was we where on the top floor and the stairs where so steep but this is not the hotels fault it is...

I am an artist and travels a lot in my work. After 30 years of travelling, this is without doubt the absolute worst hotel I`ve ever seen!!! It was a fire trap! In case of a fire you would have no chance what so ever to get out! The service was pretty much like "Basil" in Fawlty Towers only in...
