This one is tough to review. Apparently Amsterdam is pretty expensive to stay in, but I don't think this place was worth it. Here's why: Positives: -The people were great. Everyone was really helpful and sweet. -The breakfast is great. There's tons of food and they don't mind if you eat seconds. -The location - the hotel is near the...

Thank you for for sharing your experience here In La Bohème. Besides the positive aspects, which we agree on of course, we can also understand the negative aspects of your experience. But this taken in consideration the very extreme temperature for Amsterdam during your stay! These were the hottest days, not only of this year, but of the last few...

Stayed here for two nights in June. I requested the top floor and was able to have the room facing the street which appeared to be one of the larger ones according to everything we read prior to booking. The room was small, but very clean. The stairway was steep and narrow - but you got used to it. Go...

I stayed only one night, but the room did the job, small and simple but clean and comfortable, good situation in the city, worth the price. Also the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a double room on the top floor. The stairs were steeper than I imagined after reading the reviews. It was a workout going to the room! We found everything to be clean and in great condition. We enjoyed the breakfast and the friendly staff. I loved the area and found it to be quiet at night. I...

Stayed in a triple room with friends for a couple of nights. The hotel is easy to find and in a great location on the vibrant Leidseplein. It's a 20 minute walk to Central station, but there are plenty of trams passing right by too. There's is also a regular direct bus service from the airport. Check-in was quick and...

Stayed here for 3 nights as a family of 4. We had problems finding a hotel that could accommodate us all in the same room, but these guys simply placed a mattress on the floor so we could all fit in okay. This was a great solution but meant the room had a bit less free space than we are...

PROS: Fantastic location in Leidseplein, close to everything, and easy to get to by bus 197 from Schiphol. Feather pillows and lush cotton comforter, we slept like babies. Great shower head! Every staff member extraordinarily helpful and truly contributed to making us fell welcome in Amsterdam, and enhanced our enjoyment of the city with some great tips. You can buy...

We stayed for 2 nights in late July, 2012. I have 4 kids age 10-16 so needed two rooms. We were on the 2nd floor with two great rooms across the hall from each other. There was a side door from the stairwell that closed off so we felt very secure. The rooms each had 3 twin comfortable beds and...

A good B&B for the centre of Amsterdam. Not a quiet area but if you want quiet then probably best not to go to Amsterdam - or stay further out. No lift but again for this type of accommodation you are not likely to find a place with a lift. Breakfast was good - plenty of fruit as well as...

We picked this hotel based on trip adviser reviews, but unfortunately it didn't hold up to expectations. We were on the top floor, which was fine by us. The steps proved good exercise! But the rooms were tiny, bland, noisy and a bit dirty. Our sheet even had holes in it. Breakfast was also just... okay. Certainly not the best...
