Welcomed into a nice and clean reception. Lots of useful information provided at the reception. Free map was provided. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us useful details whenever we had queries. The stairway was really narrow and dangerous. Room was clean. Toilet was nice but no soap/shampoo provided. There was no kettle and no free coffee as well....

Great location and staff was wonderful! Their friendliness and willing to help - from letting us into our room early, printing out museum tickets for us and great recommendations for places to eat! Room for 3 was roomy enough and bathroom altho small was clean and just right. We had front facing rooms and altho noisy we could still sleep...

Fantastic little hotel, very central to everything. Staff were great with assisting with any enquiry. Mimi the cat greets all guests. There are plenty of restaurants just around the corner from the hotel I would recommend this little hotel to anyone, except those who would have trouble with steep stairs or don't like cats

All true what they say. Excellent location (get the 1,2 or 5 tram straight from station to Light Square and it's around corner 100m; and to get to and from airport, the airport bus is just across the road, regular, quick and only 4 Euros). For Amsterdam it's great value, clean and comfortable, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Nice...

The stairs are indeed steepy, but that's ok. The staff was very nice and helped us get to know the city by giving us maps and explaining how to get everywhere. The breakfest was above average, everything fair trade.

This is an excellent hotel all around. We stayed for 9 days in November of 2011 and we felt right at home. The staff and hotel were both excellent. It does have steep stairs going up to the rooms but that's to be expected while in Amsterdam. Great breakfast every morning with a nice selection. Very knowledgeable staff about local...

We found the location to be excellent, just around the corner from Leidsepein Square where we enjoyed street musicians in the evening. Close to museums, restaurants, shopping, night life, bus, tram and canal boats. Staff was helpful, friendly and breakfast was good. Room was small but clean and all we needed for a great stay! We would gladly choose to...

My family all enjoyed this hotel. We traveled with a 12 and 9 year old. They put down a mattress for an extra fee so that we could stay in one room (it was difficult locating a hotel that could accommodate 4 people). The extra mattress mad the room a bit cramped but we were only there to sleep and...

I read the reviews about the location of La Boheme and since I have never stayed in Amsterdam - I did not understand what that meant. The location was perfect - we were able to walk everywhere. Thank you to all the lovely "hostesses" at reception, they were all great... helped us get our large bag up the narrow stairs,...

Stayed for 2 nights with my 14 year old son in a twin room. Room small as you would expect in a city centre hotel but didn't feel cramped. Just one thing to watch for - very steep stairs and we were on the 3rd floor (no lift) so you do need to be able to manage this. Very friendly...
