The boat was fantastic - warm comfortable and perfectly clean. A little bit out of town but playing on the trams is part of the fun of visiting Amsterdam. The area is lovelty and peaceful and the views across the harbour are great.

Thank you for your visit and taking time to write your sweet words. Also greetings from our son Berend. He is glad you liked his breakfast too :-) Maybe see you some other time. Kind regards, Sylvia & Theo
Wow! What a gorgeous house boat.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on de dageraad. Everything was very clean and tidy and Sylvia was a fantastic host!
We appreciated being able to leave our bags before checking in and leave our bags after we checked out...More
good location - near the city (20min to central station by train and feet, clean bed- and bathroom, lovely breakfast, Sylvia and Theo are very friendly and polite hosts who informed us about attractions, a hint where we can park and how we get in...More
Such a lovely place to stay. The people are very kind and flexible and they made a tasty breakfast. The houseboat is fantastic, with enough luxury for a good sleep and shower. We had a great weekend in Amsterdam visiting NEMO and the Amsterdam Dungeon!
Thank Tamara D

Dank je voor de lieve woorden en jullie waren erg fijne gasten:-)
3 of us booked 2 rooms. Greeted by the lovely couple (Theo & Sylvia) who briefed us on the attractions and mode of transport. We spent 2 nights. Although the weather was wet and cold, the hosts were very warm.
A home away from home.

Glad to hear you had a great time in Amsterdam . I hope you had a great foot ball match in Manchester.
Hope to see again in the near future.
A visit to Amsterdam’s Eastern Docklands presents the opportunity to marvel at its many modern architectural masterpieces like the Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam and the beguiling Python Bridge while taking in its scenic waterfront with its trendy assortment of cafés, restaurants, bars, and clubs. Here in this post-industrial (though in some parts still very much presently industrial) neighborhood, you’ll find a
smart selection of cool galleries and shops as well as the kid-friendly Science Center NEMO and the National Maritime Museum.
