I went to Amsterdam in January of 2016, it was absolutely freezing but I had the best time! Me and my partner stayed at hotel Monopole it was quite quiet and in a great location and very easy to find. The hotel room was clean and of a good size. close to some quiet relaxed coffee shops but also not...

The hotel is in a great location for exploring the city. I was surprised in the size of the room (room 5). Although there was a double bed it's best description would be that of a storage room. The security bolt on the inside of the door was faulty, on reporting it to reception I was told they knew about...

Stayed in room 11 in the loft with three other friends for 5 days last week. Room was lovely and clean, shower fantastic and staff very friendly and helpful. Had absolutely no trouble sleeping because of noise - was worried about this after seeing other reviews but the Queers club doesn't get particularly busy and did not disturb us in...

Hotel prices in Amsterdam are ridiculous so, I'd say that this is hotel is one of the most economical you can ger and its location in the Amstel canal is fantastic. However, you need to be able to climb the very steep stairs (no lift) and carry your suitcases. We were in a sizeable room for 4 people in the...

Friendly staffing, but not Dutch talking. Bed is good, wifi as well. Room was a bit old furniture, mainly carpet. No breakfast served in a lounge, only served on room, and not before 830am during the week. The place is great, at the Amstel river and in the center.
