Myself and two friends stayed here for 3 nights. We had a ball of a time. The location is perfect for all of your needs on a city break and the room was comfortable and clean. I had read some not so positive reviews about the noise levels and found those to be an exaggeration. You can hear a bit...

We stayed in Room 12 immediately behind reception for a Friday and Saturday night. It was clean and had a good sized bathroom with a large shower. The shower had great pressure and was on a flexihose which was perfect. We had an electronic safe, a flat screen TV, fridge, Wi-Fi and hot dinks tray. There was no window as...

Weekend in Amsterdam for my stag and we got to the hotel to find that it was above a gay nightclub called queer bar or something along them lines. But to be fair the hotel was OK, it was cheap and in a central location, so we could make the most of our stay. The loud music didn't stop to...

first of all I need to say we were very impressed with the family room we had booked, the staff were amenable upon arrival. however, it was downhill from there. The room was right above a nightclub and we were subjected to thumping music coming through the floor, until the early hours. Luckily as I was celebrating with friends and...

When we arrived on Friday we headed straight to the hotel to drop our bags off. When we got there the staff were all brilliant and we were actually able to go straight to our room. The room was on the small side but clean and the bed comfy. Here's the downside. Wether it is the bar underneath or the...

I am going to explain you what happened at the Metropole Hotel in order to inform you as well as to complain about this property and at the end, complain about booking.com customer service. On the first night of our arrival we went to bed around midnight and my husband decided to go wash his teeth around 2am, while I...

Visited for two nights with a group of friends. Did the job, the rooms were adequate. Good Hot shower, TV and kettle. Comfy beds.. WiFi was very good all stay. Staff were friendly enough on arrival and checkout. If you are a light sleeper, be warned it's above a very loud disco so be prepared!! Location was ideal and for...

Travelled as a couple.small room, really small bathroom, bad stairs without any help for the luggages. After the first night when they cleaned up the room they forgot all the dirty towels in the middle of the room. The reception was polite enough and the view was really beautiful.those were the only advantages. Wouldn t recommend and will not come back.

I stayed at Hotel Monopole in Amsterdam for 2 nights, 3 days with my fiance and was extremely disappointed. See my reasons below for my dissatisfaction; Firstly it stated that we could check in from 1pm, but when we arrived at 2:30pm our room still wasn't ready. This put a delay on our first day and didn't allow us to...
