Stayed here for two nights. Hotel is clean and in a perfect location. Plenty to see and do within walking distance. Breakfast was reasonably priced and good value for money. We would definitely stay here again.

Good location you are in the middle of the Centrum section of Amsterdam. The room is very small but big enough for two. You can here your neighbor coming in to there room. The floor is made of wood so...but although the hotel is in the middle of everything at night it's fairly quiet. The room is clean and serviced...

The best thing about this hotel is that it is right in the centre of Amsterdam and easy walk to all the main areas! Staff were friendly and the room was clean! Towels and bed were changed and made everyday which was nice! Only negative for me is that the room was very very confined and would of expected something...

Excellent location in between central station and Dam square. This means lots of attractions are in walking distance, include boat cruises (1 min walk away) dam square (2 minute walk). Good rooms, nice modern decor. A very hard working girl in the cafe at the bottom of the hotel which serves snacks, as well as being the hotel reception. Only...

Booked online. Looked like a great location and it was. Arrived in Amsterdam in the morning, had a 2pm check in but was offered to leave our luggage at the hotel until it was time to check in and you can leave your luggage there after you've checked out which was very convenient for us because we checked out at...

The staff here are very friendly, and the rooms very clean and comfortable. The location is very close to Centraal Station. There is a pub underneath the hotel and bars alongside it. would definately stay here again. Also has free wifi.

Loved this hotel, right next to the red light district and a 10 minute walk from centraal station. Staff are really polite. The bar at the hotel is brilliant and play good music. The breakfast served was amazing. The stairs are steep, but that's expected in Amsterdam. Will definitely stay here again.

Just stayed at this hotel for a long weekend break - room was a fairly decent size considering most places in Amsterdam are small. Very clean with everything you could need for a short stay. Great location - everything is only a short walk away. We were on the top floor and the stairs are very steep but for the...

Nice relaxing and chill environment. Nice music and fair drink prices. The redlight disctrict can be expensive but this was a great find. Definately will be back the next time i am in town. The staff was exceptional especially the man behind the bar .

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
