This hotel had a brilliant location for us, it's literally a 30 second walk to the beautiful Vondelpark. It was easy for us to access all the touristy spots like the Heineken tour & Rijks museum (both walking distance) we stayed in the yard house, it's a cute room with a tiny bathroom although I kept splashing my feet with...

Stay here for the location, next to the Vondelpark, and walking distance to most of the city sites, especially the Museums. The rooms are small, but you're paying for the location. The shower cubicle is designed to soak the floor every time it's used, as the fixed screen is much too short.

Stayed here from Mon 27th March til Thurs 30th. Great hotel right next to Vondelpark and many bars and cafe's just around the corner. Room was very compact but we didnt mind, if you're gonna spend most of your time in the room then why travel? Whole hotel was very clean and staff were incredibly friendly! Beds were very comfortable....

Stayed in on of the garden rooms in the yard and although room was really small and bathroom was tiny it was only for 3 nights so didn't bother us. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and room was clean with flat screen TV on the wall and tea, coffee and kettle provided. Hairdryer in bathroom, and...

Nice location right next to vondelpark. Good value hotel, kept clean and staff were friendly. Small rooms, so perfect if you just want a place to crash out at night for an affordable price (as we did), but if you are wanting lots of space you will need to up your budget! Thanks for a comfortable stay :)

Visited Vondelpark on Boxing Day last year. The hotel was up to standard , rooms are cleaned daily and the staff were very friendly. Vondelpark offers Bike hire myself and my girlfriend hired the bikes out for 3 hours for €15 and had a rather chilly but fun ride around Vondelpark.

It's fine. It's clean, it's in a great location. It could be a bit cleaner but it's ok! The bed was a bit uncomfortable but maybe others would like it. We were in a garden room, so we were in a annex outside, it was a very very small room. Staff all very friendly and helpful!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and the location is great but the hotel was very noisy. Our room was located on the second floor which was fine but we heard every person arrive and leave the hotel at every hour... We also heard people talking and smoking on the back in the early hours of the...

I have recently returned home from a Valentine's trip to Amsterdam with my boyfriend. Due to our airport transfer not turning up we decided to get the train to Amsterdam central from the airport and a taxi from the station to the hotel. (Please note, you may want to write down the full address of the hotel before travelling as...

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
