The hotel is near Vondelpark, amazingly good situated for a trip in Amsterdam, it's near the Leidsplein district. Reception are nice but the hotel is too small, we were 3 in a room of 17m2 and a high cost ! The value for money is not as interesting as this... the hotel is clean, rooms are correct... I'm not really...

Booked a small double for two nights, was incredibly late arriving due to flight problems but emailed the hotel and they were straight back to me assuring it wouldn't be a problem. When we finally arrived the staff were swift with the check in and were friendly & helpful from start to finish. The room itself was perfect for a...

We had a bad experience at this place. The Hotel looks nice on the pictures, but everything is super small, the furniture is very cheap. Stay away from the annex buildings, they look like a trailer park, and for the price per night it is really a scam. The bed of the double room was way to small for two...

Booked this hotel as 9 of us were coming for a festival. The hotel from start to finish was excellent for the money we paid. The receptionist Marc was exceptional and always caring to our needs, gave us excellent advice on where to go and what do to. When we needed transport he knew exactly where to go and how...

For the price we paid, we didn't expect much but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was a good size and nicely decorated. Fantastic location with Reijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum etc, only 5 minutes around the corner. Bathroom was quite small but everything worked perfectly and the shower was great. The staff were very friendly and helped show us how...

This was a great hotel to stay at if you want to explore the city. All the top spots are within close proximity to the hotel. The room was small but clean and modern, sufficient if your not going to be spending a huge amount of time indoors. Staff at the hotel were really helpful.

Hotel was easy enough to find, we got the 197 bus from the airport, 5 euros each & a roughly 30 minute ride to the Rijksmuseum, followed by a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Check in was swift, we were put on the second floor towards the back of the hotel so was pretty quiet. The hotel was suitable...

-Good location within 2 mins of the van gough and other museums. I'd go there again for this reason. -Rooms are like small bedrooms, it's more like a b&b/ converted house but a lot of hotels seem the same. -we paid €140 per night in April. It's very expensive for what it is, you pay for the location in Amsterdam...

Honestly, the rooms are tiny and showers terribly designed (with water over-spilling thanks to the half glass doors. But if you plan to be out and sightseeing, the location is fantastic with easy access from the airport (direct bus 197 at €5 one-way!) Use the hotel as your base, come back to a clean bed in a secure, safe neighborhood....

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
