We LOVED LOVED staying at The Weavery! We used to live in Amsterdam for 5 years and planned a weekend trip to the city we used to call our home. So, for this special occasion we were looking for a unique place that will bring back the real Amsterdam feeling and beauty for a weekend. So happy, we found the...

The welcome from Bettina, her personal attention to detail (my wife is a designer and notices these things!), the local information that enhanced our Amsterdam experience, the high standard of the accommodation, its nature high in a typical Amsterdam home, its location and the ease of transportation all made our perfect accommodation in this wonderful city.

Excellent location. Comfortable and very clean room. Very private and quiet. The host was charming and very helpful with local tips for eating and drinking. Breakfast was delicious and served very unobtrusively and enjoyed in the privacy of our kitchenette.

My second stay in the Suite at the Weavery more than lived up to the memory of the first! There really is no better place to stay if you are looking for a comfortable, exquisitely furnished and decorated, warm and friendly place to perch when visiting Amsterdam. The location is quiet and the street feels friendly and local, despite being...

This place is great because you really have it all - location, comfort and hospitality. First of all, the B&B itself is gorgeous. I stayed in the suite, and Bettina and Driss have created a beautiful and comfortable space with attention to detail. Everything you could possibly need is there; be it coffee, tea, a blow dryer, a robe...you name...

My boyfriend and I had the absolute pleasure of staying in the suite at the Weavery this past weekend. We are very active travelers and always seeking a "special" experience that is unique to the local culture when we travel. To say that the Weavery met our expectations would be an understatement - it far exceeded them! The steep stairs,...

The best place to stay in Amsterdam. Beautiful accommodation and wonderful owners. No words can describe it before you have been there. Right in the heart of Amsterdam. Everything is very easy to reach. The best accommodation if you travel with children, but also as singel or freshly in love.Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and we are looking forward...

We stayed here in mid November and it was lovely. The room is beautifully decorated with modern furnitures and having the kitchenette gave it a homely feel. This room exceeded all our expectations. We loved it so much that we didn't want to leave! It is equipped with bathrobes, slippers, a coffee machine, yoga mat, comfy bed, lovely toiletries, a...

I booked a trip to Amsterdam with my partner who likes his usual 5 star hotel. This time i thought it would be nice to take the chance on somewhere a bit more intimate and authentic. The Weavery exceeded all our expectations and more. We truly fell in love with this place and here are my reasons why - Perfect...

We stayed in the Silk Room, which is located a few steps below street level. I have to admit, when we first arrived and went down those steps, I was concerned about what we would find. Not to worry, the room was perfect. Great size room and bathroom, with a small kitchen area. Most important part for me - everything...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set in a protected 17th century house in the heart of old Amsterdam, the Weavery offers the unique character and style of a boutique hotel, with the personal service and homey comfort of a family run bed & breakfast."Gezelligheid" (roughly translated it means cozy and pleasant) we keep top of mind at the Weavery. Another key characteristic is independence. Each room is fully self-contained, with private bath and w/c, separate entrance and kitchenette. Our charming rooms feel like a home away from home to the independent minded traveler, who likes to move at his own pace. In short, we designed the Weavery to feel more like a pied-à-terre than a hotel or traditional bed & breakfast. The Weavery is as perfectly located as can be imagined. We are just 5 minutes walk from the museum square and a short stroll from all the big theaters. All the main shopping areas like Leidestraat, the 9 Streets and PC Hooftstraat are just around the corner and so are many lovely cafes and restaurants. Our rooms offer - Queen size beds- Ensuite bathrooms with bath/rain-shower and W/C- Bathrobes- Rituals bathroom amenities- Hairdryer- Kitchenette with double cook plate, microwave, dishwasher and fridge- Coffee/tea making facilities- Lounge corner- Flatscreen TV- Wireless Internet- Laptop Safe- ipod docking stationWe have two rooms: The Silk room which is located on the lower ground level and sleeps up to 3 people and the Suite, located on the 2nd floor, which has its own private roof terrace and sleeps up to 4 people. ... more   less
