I won't rehash all the other positive review comments, but will say that my wife and I fully agree with them. We really liked the location. We enjoy walking to places, but the tram stops were also very close by when needed. Our room (Rembrandt) was cozy, very clean, and bright. For us, the provided food worked out perfectly. We...

From beginning to end, the experience was amazing! Odette and her husband can't do enough to help you with everything you need. The room was perfect, the location ideal, the area delightful, the welcome exceptional. Do not hesitate to stay here - we will be going back again and just hope we can find they still have availability.

What a beautiful stay we had at Helmers. Odette welcomed us and carried my 18kg case up the 72 steps to our cute little apartment. The fridge was stocked with all sorts of goodness including fresh berries, jams, cheeses and cold meats. An absolute pleasure. My husband and I have not been to Amsterdam before but the stay at Helmers...

Thank You so very much! It was very pleasant and we had a very relaxing holiday staying with you. Excellent location, very friendly hosts, nice little breakfast to enjoy with just the two of us. All in all - a solid 10 out of 10 :)

As many others have said, it's perfectly located and most areas are walkable. The bed was great. Odette and her husband were super personable and were able to accommodate our milk allergies. We only had 3 days in Amsterdam so it was a bit rushed. Otherwise I would liked to have used the roof top terrace to relax a little...

Me and my sister stayed at this lovely place. The owners are super helpful and lovely people. Very nicely decorated studio apt. They clean the same everyday. Everything is close by just 5 to 10 mints walk.

We stayed three nights here, choosing it on the basis of other TripAdvisor recommendations. It really is a very well-appointed B&B - our room was spacious and clean, with a kitchen and bathroom to ourselves. Décor was new and fresh. Location is good, especially for the museums. Our hosts, Fons and Odette, were friendly and helpful. As other reviews point...

B&B Helmers is charming, well kept and a good location. The room was clean and it was so nice having a min-fridge stocked with delicious food. The location is great for visiting the museums and taking a short tram ride in to the city center. The neighborhood lacks some of the charm and ease of other neighborhoods like the Jordaan....
