Very good location. The hotel is very "European" which I enjoyed. Only reason for my three star review is because the heater did not work, other than that I really liked my stay. Staff was extremely friendly. I would definitely come back.

Stayed here with my wife and one year old baby. The hotel is located outside the central area but easily accessible with a tram stop right outside the hotel. The tram line also go straight to Station RAI and you can take a train there to Schiphol Airport (which is nearer than going to Centraal Station). Albert Cuyp Markt is...

We stayed in the hotel for two nights. Hotel is located in one of the old buildings in Amsterdam. Our window looked into the yard and we had a nice balcony to have a coffee in the morning there, though there are not so many rooms like this in the hotel so you have to ask for this in advance...

Perfect location close to the centre. outside tram stop number 4 that takes you into the centre in 15 minutes. Clean room, comfortable bed, simple but fresh breakfast, friendly staff. Nothing to complain about.

The hotel is in very good location next to the tram 4 station . The staff is kind and always ready to help for directions. Our room was clean and fresh. The breakfast is ok. Plus the room price is affordable.

Room felt damp as did the bedding, False fire alarm at 1 am did not help, to evacuate the hotel without using the lift proved to be hazardous, as the stairs are both narrow & on a slight spiral, one member of our party slipped & fell on the stairs

The room was in the attic with a very steep staircase! A very slow lift and no staircase unless in an emergency. The room was nothing special, extremely small. The customer service was awful. Not friendly at all. The breakfast room was in the basement. This was terrible. Cramped conditions and they cram hotel rooms in anywhere. There's even 2...

The room was just what I needed for a solo traveller, clean, comfortable and calm. The staff was welcoming and approachable. The wifi was very reliable and the location not far from the main museums nearby and the night lively squares, yet slightly far from the city centre and the red light district. A bike to rent is highly recommended...

Neighbourhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
