Booked this last minute as our trip to Amsterdam was last minute! As my girlfriend and I both work for an airline we decided to make a quick trip. We only stayed one night. Now wishing we stayed longer... After the short walk from the train station we met with Angelo and he made us feel right at home. He...

Travelled on Hogmany for 3 nights as a couple. Bed and breakfast was fantastic. Angelo, the host, allowed us to drop our bags off early, gave us great advice where to go and what to do for the bells and was kind enough to give us a bottle of bubbly to celebrate the new year. Room itself was fabulous, HUGE...

We visited crownbnb as a couple in December 2015 and stayed for three nights. Everything was wonderful, starting with the great do-it-yourself breakfast to Angelo, the super friendly and helpful host of the bnb. We enjoyed the big room, coffee and tee inside the room and also the jacuzzi very much and can just highly recommend this bnb for everyone,...

Just arrived back after a three night stay with my wife and can happily say from the day we arrived until we left, we were made to feel very welcome. Angelo couldn't welcome us but he text to say arrangements were in place for his friend Noel to let us in etc, who was fantastic. The room was large and...

Just got home from our romantic getaway in Amsterdam. Before we even left the UK communication from the manager (Angelo) was friendly, our directions were clear and everything ready for us. As it was our anniversary Angelo had a bottle of bubbly for us the room was spotless and thought the towel swan was a elegant touch. We were in...

Spent 2 nights at this B & B which has been very tastefully renovated with spacious rooms with everything you need and help yourself to breakfast which catered for everyone. There is a small stairway access but this is common in Amsterdam. Angelo was very friendly and helpful and would recommend staying here yo

We consider ourselves lucky to have been able to book the deluxe room at this place at short notice (must have been a cancellation). What an amazing B&B, how many B&B's have a Jacuzzi? The deluxe room is also at the back of the premises so you get no noise from the road outside. The location of this place makes...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
