Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.

Art'otel Amsterdam, powered by Radisson Hotels, receives high marks for its cleanliness, with many guests commending the pristine rooms and daily housekeeping. While opinions on value are divided, the hotel's atmosphere, characterized by stylish and creative decor, appeals to many, even if some rooms lack views. The spacious and well-soundproofed rooms are a hit, despite occasional complaints about cleanliness and lighting. Its central location near Central Station is a highlight for guests, as is the friendly staff, although some have faced slow service. Amenities are well-regarded, but the absence of USB plugs is a minor inconvenience.

We keep returning to this hotel because we love it so much. Centrally located, it’s a great spot to be able to explore all of Amsterdam- and beyond- on foot, by tram or train. The staff is exceptional all around and so friendly. We love the breakfasts, and even though we didn’t use the pool, sauna & gym this time, it’s a great way to unwind and enjoy the hotel when the weather doesn’t cooperate. This time, we kicked off our honeymoon with a stop in Amsterdam, and of course, Amsterdam and the art’otel didn’t disappoint. Take some time to visit their rotating art installations- you can grab a drink or dinner at Arca, located inside the hotel. This time, after some significant travel from San Diego to Amsterdam over a 48 hour period, we needed a day to relax/sleep… and I ordered their room service from the late night menu. A simple but delicious Ham & Cheese panini didn’t disappoint… in fact, I ordered it a second time! As an added bonus, Carsten’s next door is convenient for some light fare, and also “Vic’s Bar” at the hotel next door- Victoria Hotel. Sapore Italiano is one of our favorite Italian spots, just a short walk away. My husband enjoys walking through the little shops that line the alley behind the hotel as well. We’ll be back!

Hotel's Favourite
Highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in an Iconic view (Room 1005), which was a beautiful room with high ceilings and very spacious. Very well finished, spotlessly clean and modern. Daily room cleaning service was included and we had fresh towels every day. You also get vouchers left on the bed for 2 cocktails for €18 in the bar. 1 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal train station and is a fantastic location as close to everything you come to Amsterdam for - bars, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. It’s 1 minute walk to the tram stop. The rooms are really quiet, we never heard neighbours and noise from outside is very minimal. The curtains are black out so you can get a very good nights sleep. Air con is also very good. Hairdryer included was very good! There is a super-king sized bed. The pillows are duck down but you can request foam at reception. The staff were very friendly and helpful, you’re always greeted when coming or leaving the hotel. Hotel security is very good. You have to scan your room key card to use the lifts to access rooms. Only criticism is more hangers in the wardrobes would be handy, you only get about 5 but I bet they’d bring more if requested. Stayed here twice already now, and when we next come back to Amsterdam I wouldn’t entertain trying anywhere else as it’s spot on here!

Quirky hotel choc full of fabulous art pieces. The rooms are a great size (given that you are in the middle of the city centre), cleaned daily and very comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and very VERY helpful. When I asked where the nearest pharmacy was because we had forgotten our toothbrushes, the lovely lady at reception gave us some. We were also loaned a travel adaptor for the duration of our stay (we are normally way more organised than we were for this trip!). We arrived far too early for check-in, but our bags were stored for us while we took in a bit of the city. Our bags were also stored for us when we were leaving to give us the chance to get a last tour of the city before heading to the airport. The hotel is in the most central location you can imagine - right across from the railway station - but there was little to no outside noise in our rooms and we all got a peaceful sleep. Special mention has to be given to the concierge who was friendly, funny and so very helpful. He even checked that we had remembered to take our passports, money etc out of the safe before we left. Just lovely.

I love the experience at art'otel! The staff are so sweet and professional. I came early on Sunday, the first stop in Europe, the Amsterdam, and I almost don't need to visit the tourist information with the helpful staff. A call was offered for my earlier checkin and postcard delivery during my checkout. Convenient location to central station and means of transportation nearby even in the rainy season. Stylish room and spacious, just I couldn't opt for a brighter lighting. It's just romantic!
