The hotel is clean, the staff is helpful. The rooms are small, with weak Wi-Fi signal, the windows do not open, but the ceililng lamp in my room had a fan. Bathrooms are clean and large in comparison with rooms. I recommend this hotel for a low budget travel.

I love writing reviews about unknown hotels. However, this hotel isnt really "new" it has just made it self more "fresh". Hotel Aalborg is now known as the Arcade. For the better in my opinion. When you enter The Arcade you will see the minimalistic design in black combined with the a living room you could imagine from the 80's.... More

Stayed here for two nights. It's 6 or 7 stops from Dam square and costs 2.90 for the 1 hour ticket. Room was small but very modern. Bed was lovely and hard. WiFi worked very well. Didn't eat or drink in the hotel so can't comment. Walking distance to Heineken experience.

We stayed at a room with a double bed and two single beds with a balcony. Great service from a portuguese receptionist, we didn't expect. The wifi wasn't great, but at least was free. The bathroom was spacious and really clean. The beds were comfy. The only downside was the fact that we had to give our key whenever we... More

Do not know where to begin with this hotel. Firstly it is promoted as a gamers 'arcade' hotel- to which is it definitely NOT. If you are going to promote your hotel with a particular USP and charge an extortionate amount for this then the least you can do is actually offer what you say you do! There was not... More

The entrance to the hotel belies the size and quality of its tawdry accommodation. The receptionists we encountered were both lovely ladies who fully understood our concerns, but said the hotel never does anything about it! The 'double' room concept is a joke-barely big enough to fit a bed in, certainly not two people !! It was akin to trying... More

We have just returned from this short stay in Amsterdam. 4 adults in one room and after seeing images we were expecting the worst. However the hotel was great location short walk round one corner to tram number 4 which goes all the way to Central Station or round two corners to get to tram 7 or 10 in to... More

Upon arrival, staff were extremely friendly, room and bathroom were clean, and location was perfect; right opposite Sarphatipark which is beautiful. Tram station is about 2 minutes walking, and then about 15 minutes to the Centraal Station. Excellent value for money, breakfast is available and daily room cleaning was awesome. There's an outside garden with a smoking area with comfy... More

On arrival at this hotel we were aksed to pay some sort of tax which cost just over 10 euros, I was not aware of any tax to be paid from the booking company or the hotel before hand. We checked in with no problem but were a late as our flight was 4 hours delayed. After putting our stuff... More

I absolutely LOVE this hotel. I have stayed here twice now, and it is the best value for money you will be able to find. Lovely hotel, good rooms, nothing to complain about at all other than one of our rooms had a double bed in then two singles and we didn't really want any double beds, but that's not... More

Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students.
