We stayed there, unfortunately, for only one night on our way through Amsterdam in July 2013. The accommodations were very funky and the ambiance was great. We loved the restaurant too. The staff is very attentive and we highly recommend staying here. What fun to sit and play a grand piano in you room!

Unique hotel, 15 minutes away from amsterdam, by tram.Super markets and cafes close by and very reasonable. We got a 4 star room for 2 adults and 2 kids. ROOMS ARE ALL DIFFERENT . THE TOILET AND BATHROOM HAS DOORS BUT NO LOCKS (IT IS CONSTRUCTED LIKE THAT) AND IT IS IN CORRIDOR BETWEEN 2 BED ROOMS. SO DONT EXPECT...

Not too far from Amsterdam Central or the station (20 minute walk or less). Fantastic cycle route the entire journey and very close to tram station. Staff were very happy and helpful, gave us tips on the best value places and room service options etc. Incredibly comfortable beds- upgraded us from 1 star to 2 star free of charge! Unfortunately...

Lloyd Hotel is a unique and out of the ordinary property. We loved the location- we enjoy walking - about a 20 minute walk, or a 5 min tram ride, to downtown Amsterdam. The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant. Ditto for the restaurant staff- they were even friendlier and fun. Parking available close to hotel...

The room was different to say the least. There was a large dining table in the middle of the room! Double bed was tucked up...

I spent a little more than a week backpacking around Europe. The Lloyd Hotel was my first stop on the trip. The hotel was very clean, bright and modern inside. The restaurant was very convenient after having walked around all day. The art installation above the restaurant was fun to browse. I booked a room with a shared bath, but...

Arrived at the hotel to find out we had to put down a 600€ deposit for the 2rooms we had already paid for. Wasn't aware we had to do this. Staff were pretty rude, seemed annoyed to have tourists staying in there hotel. Ordered food in the restaurant which took them 20minutes to make an omelette and a coffee. A...

We, a family of four, 2 adults and two children, had booked a 4 star room. We were initially given a room which had the toilet facilities separating the main bedroom from the outer room which also doubled as the kids bedroom with extra beds. The toilet facility cum dining area(? with a table and a chair) in the center...

We sayed one night in this hotel nd we would have liked to stay longer. Such a nice hotel with many design elements that it is almost a museum. History is rather dark but the hotel is rather light. We stayed in a 1 start room (shared bathroom) but it was worth it.
