We stayed at the Barangay for my 30th and it was fantastic. The guys are very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The location is perfect - just a short walk from the train station and into town (they gave us a map with all the relevant stuff and marked out all the places to see/avoid, whether it be local or tourist,...

One of my best stays in Amsterdam EVER! Godwin and Wimmo were very friendly, gracious hosts. The room was tastefully and excitingly decorated! The breakfast was absolutely delicious! The location is perfect: a quiet, nice neighborhood, but definitely close enough to all the naughty and nice things to do! These guys also know the city inside and out and are...

The Barangay is a wonderful oasis right in the center of Amsterdam. I was delighted to find myself on a pretty street, steps from the canals and markets, and close enough to the train station and public transportation to hit places further away. Godwin is a wonderful host and treated me like family, and I really appreciated his advice about...

We just returned from our week long trip to The Netherlands. It was a wonderful vacation and what greatly enhanced the experience was staying at the Barangay B&B in Amsterdam. It was a short stroll from the Central Station and all the attractions that we visited, such as The VanGogh Museum, Anne Frank house, Red Light district, were in easy...

The Barangay is an very friendly and welcoming place to stay with wonderful, fun, hosts and a very welcome mix of attentive and yet not intrusive staff. You can do what you like, come and go as you please and find out the lowdown on Amsterdam from your hosts over a glass of wine. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious...

We had a warm and friendly greeting at Barangay B&B. Just a few minutes walk from Centraal Railway Station, Barangay is like a little 'tropical' oasis in a quiet sleep-friendly street near (local) restaurants, shops, cafes and bars. Wimmo and Godwin are excellent hosts and they presented a charming room, neat, clean, well maintained with a good breakfast and plenty...

We stayed in the Barangay in July and it was wonderful. We booked one of the deluxe rooms with your own bathroom. The bathroom is down the hall but it was convenient. Our room was decorated in a tropical theme, with a beautiful orchid on the table, and access to a small enclosed patio. You could eat your breakfast there...
