We had an outstanding stay at the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam and the service and professionalism was at the highest level. We met a lovely woman Iva Benic at the front desk, and she was so informative and helpful with anything we needed. She was patient, and answered all our questions with knowledge and a smile. We look forward to our next visit!!
Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam is the best in Amsterdam. It delivers on each promise: the absolute beauty of the premises, the astonishing perfection of each detail, the flawless, personalized, super kind service delivered by the most fantastic Staff. The most refined room with all the amenities you can desire, a delicious breakfast elegantly served, the superbe SPA, and even the "parfum d'ambiance" you can choose for your room! We were excited and happy to have chosen again this hotel (it was our second stay) in the wide array of possibilities Amsterdam offers, even considering the high fares they applied. Those are money well spent. Our congratulation to each and everyone of the ladies and gentlemen of the Staff, in particular to Mr. Juan for the flawless check in and warm welcome he gave us, to the impeccable Mr. Julian at the restaurant, to Mr. Enrico of Guest Relations for helping us smartly with the restaurants, to the House Keeping department - because our room was unbelievably clean and perfectly served - to Ms. Paola for smoothly and kindly checking us out. Finally, our congratulations to the General Manager, Mr. Roberto Payer, for directing such and incredible hotel with professionalism warmth and grace. Thank you for the marvelous experience we had and look forward to going back to Walfdorf Astoria Amsterdam.…
This is an exceptional Hotel with beautiful rooms and facilities, and probably the best standard of service I have ever encountered. We stayed for 2 nights and we were upgraded to a King Premier Room with a canal view, which was available immediately despite us arriving at 9 a.m. Throughout the stay service was attentive, responsive and highly personalised. For example, we were greeted at breakfast, my wife was congratulated on her recent birthday and we were offered a glass of champagne. There is an incredible attention to detail everywhere, nothing is rushed, nothing is too much effort and you are never left waiting for anything. Every space in the hotel is beautifully maintained and every inch of the room is spotless. The hotel is full of history, character and luxurious touches. At €700+ per night our expectation was very high, but we weren't left disappointed. This is a special place and one which I have no doubt we'll return to in the future. If you're looking to treat yourselves then this is the one! 😊…
The Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam is the pinnacle of luxury. From check in to check out, every moment is to be savored. Check in is personal, warm and welcoming. The rooms are unique and luxurious, you really feel like you are somebody! The morning breakfast is decadent and so lovely. The Vault Bar is the perfect end to each day. All this said, the real difference are the people that are WA Amsterdam, concerned and caring, they go the extra mile to make every moment special. The worst part is having to leave. We love this place so much that we can't wait to return again.
It is well known the Hilton properties outside of the USA tend to be nicer than the ones in the USA. As international Hilton properties go, this is the nicest one I've have had the pleasure of setting foot in. The difference is the staff. There is incredible "touch" with the guests on par with a Park Hyatt. From check-in and full tour every member of the team was at our service and going the extra mile. From the bee honey that is sourced on property to the chamomile tea the tastes of the meals were superb. The cocktails in the bar were excellent. The room was comfortable and spotless. First floor rooms have higher ceilings and a complimentary loyalty upgrade was much appreciated. Heated floor in the bathroom was heavenly on winter evening. Travel to/from central station easy via taxi and precisely on time as requested. We will be back soon! Don't miss Boerejongens coffee shop around the corner if that suits your fancy...…
We were treated ROYALLY by ALL the staff - reception, rooms service, bellmen, Concierge, Tea Service (the Intern that served us was extraordinary- tall, slender, blonde young man....), doormen, Peacock servers, and house cleaning. We felt not only welcome but special and privileged to be there. Additionally, my wife was treated to 2 unexpected birthday treats with a special chocolate arrangement by the Room service staff and another chocolate arrangement with a split of champagne when we checked out. Absolutely amazing attention to detail by everyone. The room and accommodations were as expected for the Waldorf, truly and absolutely amazing, but without the loving attention of their wonderful, dedicated and talented staff, it would have been just another nice room.
I highly recommend this hotel. The attention to detail of the entire staff incredible from check in to room service to the check out even the spa is truly a one of a kind experience. The food is also top notch.
5 Star service !! We loved our entire stay. The staff is so professional and accommodating. The rooms we’re comfortable and clean. The Vault bar staff was allot of fun and drinks were poured to perfection. We highly recommend this for your trip to Amsterdam.
I have stayed in the best hotels around the world, and nothing comes close to the service and quality of the staff at this hotel. It would take pages of comments to outline or describe the number of things they do better than anyone else. They make you feel like the most important guest they've ever had, never talk down to you, and never say "no"! Everything is perfect.
My husband and I stayed at the Waldorf for 3 nights prior to our excursion to Africa. We had never been to Amsterdam and were just incredibly impressed by this hotel. From the initial introduction to the hotel and their elegant check in (seated in the most beautiful room), we felt at once comfortable while being in awe of how beautiful his hotel is. The location is just ideal for walking to everything and the staff are just incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. We have to make special mention of "Mr Popich" who overseas the delicious breakfast service. He overheard that we had gotten the time wrong for our tour of the Anne Frank House Tour and immediately arranged a quick breakfast and a car service to get us there on time. We have NEVER experienced that kind of service in any 5 star hotel before. My husband and I agree that this is the finest run and appointed hotel we have ever had the pleasure to experience. …
