Beautiful clean room in a perfect location. Short walk to Dam square. Very loud at night due to the Whisky Bar across the road and the bins being emptied at 6pm on a Sunday! Other than that the staff were very welcoming and helped us with a map to find great places to visit and eat. Would certainly stay again...

We stayed here in March for three nights, the location is great, and it is lovely to have your own front door, we felt like locals, the apartment is basic but clean, Rene & Ingrid are lovely, and very helpful, we would definitely stay there again

We have just got back from a weekend in the true love guest house. Perfect location for everything, under 10 mins walk to central station, dam square & all other places to be! There are also amazing restaurants and cafes surrounding the guest house. The guesthouse itself is definitely the opposite of what we were expecting! We arrived at what...

We had no issues with the accomodation. Met at the shop and walked down the block to the place we would be staying. Owner was very helpful in explaining the map and highlighting streets and points of interest- made it so much easier for us to get around. They had bikes to hire but we chose to do bike/walking tours...

Stayed in Nov 15 with my partner (other friends booked separately and stayed in other hotels/apartments). Arrived at the shop and were walked to the apartment by Rene (about 5min away), he gave us some tips of places to go etc on the way. The apartment was the basement of one of Amsterdam's characteristic tall houses. It was mostly clean...

Quiet part of town, nice bars and restaurants in every direction. Essential places in walking distance. Staying at the Blauwbergwal apartment next to the canal...perfect for couples or solo travelers. 50 m to Arendsnest Prooeflokaal, local craft beer (30 on tap and at least same bottled)...if you enjoy beer, go visit!

Not what we expected. Literally a room in a house. Miserable man walked us to house from shop. Room small but adequate with small wet room. No shampoo etc nor maid service. Expensive for what it was. Location ok and easy to find.

The Truelove Guesthouse is in a very central location, close to Dam Square and Central Station. We stayed in a room facing one of the canals, it was quiet and clean. Nothing fancy but everything you really need. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed our stay.

First of all the given address wasn't the room's address but a shop's address. Also, the description was saying that there was a private bathroom in the room .. There was something like a bathroom.. We felt very uncomfortable..It was a shock for us!! The only good thing was the location and the view. P.S: Take your own shampoo and...

For my travel to Amsterdam with a group of friends, this was a great place to stay for the price. It is located in the prettier part of the city, typically the canal photos you will see often online. It is a very safe area at night and we felt happy walking around. The owners are very amenable and gave...
