We stayed for 3 nights in B&B Jordaan. The location is perfect if you intend to spend the night in a quiet neighbourhood and if you don't mind to do a short walk to the centre (1km). The room was big and comfortable and the...More
We had a great 3 day stay at B&B Jordaan. The room was comfortable and well equiped. Our hostess was friendly, accommodating and graciously helped us with transportation arrangements and dining recommendations, all of which worked out well. Breakfast was plentiful and nutritious (bread, butter,...More
It was so much fun staying at the B&B Jordaan. It was in a very quiet residential neighbourhood, on a lane with very little motor traffic. From our upstairs window we could see people going to work, taking their children to school, taking the dog...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.

This is centrally located accommodation in the core area of Amsterdam . Museums and other places of tourist importance are close by. .( 20-30 min walk or 7-10 Min by trams). It is a quiet place to stay but don't expect facilities like hotels costing same prize.when i stayed here in April 2014 they charged me 130 euro per night for double room including cold breakfast & taxes.
Keukenhof is not near by and it will take 30 -40 min by taxi and it is in different direction from other tourist places. Have a happy stay.
