My daughter and wife have just come back from Amsterdam and chose to stay here rather than a hotel. Feedback is that the location was excellent - they really liked the Jordaan area which had some great cafes, restaurants and vintage/arty shops. The B&B was...More
This is my first time experience of staying with this kind of facility other than hotels. I stayed here for 3 days ( 3-6 April 2014) . Location of the property is really good and all the places of tourist impotence are near by (...More
another great week at the B&B Jordaan in the Garden Room, much warmer weather this time so the garden had started to bloom but all the great things we liked so much the last time were still there, fabulous breakfasts, quiet but very central area,...More
From our first contact with charlotte by email I knew this would be good. She was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived at 10pm.. Breakfast is served to your room and tea and coffee facilities in your room. I had requested a gluten free...More
B&B was extremely clean, breakfasts were delicious (and different each day) and Charlotte was a lovely host - friendly and very helpful. We had the garden room and our teenagers had the first floor room overlooking the street. No problems with either. The B&B is...More
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.

This is centrally located accommodation in the core area of Amsterdam . Museums and other places of tourist importance are close by. .( 20-30 min walk or 7-10 Min by trams). It is a quiet place to stay but don't expect facilities like hotels costing same prize.when i stayed here in April 2014 they charged me 130 euro per night for double room including cold breakfast & taxes.
Keukenhof is not near by and it will take 30 -40 min by taxi and it is in different direction from other tourist places. Have a happy stay.
