Booked this hotel last minute and unfortunately didn’t get a chance to read the bad reviews first. Wish we had! First impression was the scary stairs which are more like a step ladder , very steep especially noticeable when coming down. The room was on second floor which wasn’t very clean had a broken window which wasn’t double glazed so...

This is a budget hotel and you do get what you pay for in this World. That said, there are some very basic things this hotel could do to make the accommodation better. - The paintwork on the walls in our bedroom needed a really good re-paint, there were scuffs, marks and stains all over the white paint. This is...

Arrived at the hotel, shocked by the scary stairs! Very steep and no one to help with the luggage, if you have a big luggage don't even think of it! Reached the room, thank god it was on the first floor, it is much smaller than the pictures on hotel booking websites. Internet is very very bad, there were spider...

I am familiar with Amsterdam hotels and have visited and stayed in multiple throughout the city. This was the worst hotel I've stayed at in Amsterdam. Let's start with positives. The location is near a lot of nightlife and restaurants. There are dozens of restaurants, coffee shops, retail stores and clubs within a several block radius. Walkable (though far) from...

first of all this hotel is amazing for a 2 star hotel. We stayed for 5 nights.Tiny staircase, not the most comfortable room but you get what u pay for. Our room was being cleaned every day so it was always clean and fresh. We didn´t book breakfast and didn´t regret it in any way. There´s loads of opportunities to...

We stayed in this hotel during June 2016. This hotel does what you expect and is a 5 minute walk from leidesplein with all the pub's and Irish bars plus sports bars. It's just off the main street so is quite quiet, it's also convenient for the tram lines 1,2 and 5. There is loads of shopping nearby if that's...

Not a bad location. Very steep stairs to navigate. I wouldn't like to carry large luggage up. We went with 2 other couples. The good point was we had a small floor with 3 attic rooms. Very hot up there. The other 2 rooms had fans. We stayed 2 nights, and we didn't get towels changed, although the other 2...

I had been looking for a reasonably-priced hotel for an overnight stay on my way back to the US and this was one of the few in that category. I called for directions and they were not very helpful (ended up walking around for about 45 minutes with luggage before I broke down & called for a taxi). The room...

All I have is good words for this hotel!! Stayed for 4 nights with my partner and were more than pleased. Close proximity to everything and also not forgetting the amazing coffee shop located next door. The only issue I would say for older or people with limited ability would be the steep stairs.. They were no problem for us...
