I checked in to hotel and found many problems right away: - I have to change rooms during my stay - Deposit box in the room was broken - Overall condition of the room was very poor I am reasonable person and I can accept that, but what I cannot accept is the BED BUGS in the room! I saw...

We stayed here for 2 nights last week. Great location, not even 5 min walk from central station, Dam Square & Red Light District. The room was very small and dirty, floor had not been cleaned, clumps of dust sat on the curtains and our bathroom was over the hall which was such an inconvenience, not to mention the fact...

Centrally located, this place isn't the ritz but doesn't claim to be either. It was perfect for us four friends, had our own bathroom and could walk everywhere and arrive in late. You won't be spending time in the room you are in the dam! Stairs was an issue but the rest was fine

I stayed here for 1 night as I had a long 13-hour layover at the airport. Pros: 24 hours reception, central location, cheap, comfy beds, decent showers, Wi-Fi Cons: The corridor from the street up the stairs to the main reception smells pretty dank, like a moist old weed like smell. Could definitely use some air freshener or just some...

The stairs are extremely cramped with no elevator. You literally have to wait for other guests to come off the stairs before you can start climbing. God knows how anyone manages with a suitcase. The bed had a wheel missing which was extremely unsafe, the staff didn't really seem concerned when I told them I fell off. Avoid this hotel...

I stayed here for three nights with my boyfriend and we were chuffed to bits when we found it online as it's location is 2 minutes walk from anywhere you would want to be in the centre of Amsterdam. The only downsides were that we had to walk up three flights of stairs with all of our bags to get...

Weed smell in the room, not very clean, no breakfast, located near a fries store... a lot of stairs. Not do to with a child, but good hospitality and very good location. Hotels are so expensive in amsterdam that i would recommand it fot couples who are searching for a low price and a good location

Stayed at this hotel for three nights and was bitten by bed bugs. Ended up going to A&E for treatment since I acquired an infection from the bytes. When I confronted reception with evidence (5 or six bed bugs) they decided to change my room. No apologies. Didn't even give me a discount for the inconvenience. I will never stay...

Stayed here one night. Location is great. My room was on 5th floor and was a room with twin beds. Safe didn't work. Room is small. Internet free and worked good. Free coffee and the desk clerk, Boris, was great answering my questions. The stairway is narrow and there's no elevator. For older person it's difficult to get luggage up...

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
