We stayed here for three nights in July whilst travelling through Europe. This was my first hostel experience and it was definitely a pleasant one. The staff are friendly and the information at the front desk is super helpful. We stayed in a 6 bedroom dorm and also hired bikes from the hostel which were reasonably priced. Would definitely stay...

Perfect to get away from the stress of city center. The prices are acceptable for the quality, the service and the rooms more than reasonable! The breakfast is truly great! Although I felt is not too accessible with public transportation, you need to be an oriented person.

Got private twin bed room, private shower. Had hot water. Room had high ceilings, very spacious. Staff was very nice. Breakfast had variety of choices & organic orange/Apple juice! The hostel is a bit away from city center but can easily go into the center by tram within 10 minutes. Worth it for the cheaper price! But the area around...

Our trip to Amsterdam was made so much more comfortable by the friendly staff at Stayokay Zeeburg. Having spent some time at a hostel in Germany for the previous three nights, where the staff were rude and the buffet breakfast was terrible, we were more than happy to be greeted by Joost, Loes and Charlotte at reception. We were also...

We've been to Amsterdam for two days only, and being a group of six, this was the best choice we could make. Very clean hostel, not noisy at all, great and super helpful staff. It is a bit far from the center but well connected with tram. Totally recommend it.

The hostel is not in the city centre (as we thought it was) but the train is only a 5/10 minute walk away. This didn't bother us in the day but coming home was an issue, we couldn't stay out as late as we wanted to & it wasn't the nicest walk for 2 girls late at night!. When we...

Thank you for your review. It is clear that we met (parts of) your expectations, but not exceeded them, which is a shame. If you come to Amsterdam, you might find the Stayokay Vondelpark hostel a good substitute. It is the same formula in a more central location. I would like to apologize for the behaviour of my colleague and...

The stayokay in Zeeburg is a lovely hostel with big open communal areas, great bar, spacious and clean rooms and a friendly atmosphere. Only slight downside is the location, if you plan on getting trams, buses and trains on your trip you'll be fine, but walking will take about 45mins+ to get to central Amsterdam. Lovely walk if the weather...

I stay 1 night at dormitory (6beds) few years ago by myself. The hostel was huge and staff was very kind and friendly. There was a park near the hostel and I could easily find the hotel. Recommended.

This hostel is not at the centre of the city (as we thought) but it has a tram station so close which takes you to citycenter in approx. 10 minutes. The room and the hostel were very clean but I didn't like the shower. You have to press the button continuosly to have warm water and it isn't very warm....

Stayokay is a big hostel useful for international groups or backpackers who travel alone. It is big and it serves a real good breakfast that will make a difference on your day. They also rent bikes and sell tickets for Amsterdam most famous attractions. Just don't forget to bring towel and shampoo with you: these items are pricey in the...
