This was really the only hotel room that was available at the time as there was some conference going on so we had to book it. Location: great location, very central! Room: clean but very cramped! you can literally wash your hands and take a poop at the same time... very tiny washroom Internet: works fine in the lobby

Dear Chantalligent, I am sorry that our rooms did not reach you expectations, unfortunately because we are a 3* city centre hotel we are known for not having big rooms. I do hope that the size of the room did not make your time in Amsterdam any less enjoyable. If you maybe are considering on coming back to Amsterdam in...

I really enjoyed the stay in Best Western Apollo Museumhotel. I like the peaceful and convenient location of the hotel. At the same time, the guest room was very clean and cozy. I wlil choose this hotel next time I will be in Amsterdam.

Excellent! Clean, great location, friendly staff-especially at Reception and at breakfast, great value for money. Would stay again and recommend to others. And found Amsterdam a lively, lovely, safe City.

It was good experience. Location and rooms are good. Recommendation is good. You can get tickets of trains, museums from receptions only. Airport is also near by. You can get direct bus and taxi from the hotel

Ideal location close to trams which give easy access to all attractions , we bought a 3 day pass at station and was a good idea . Staff very welcoming on arrival and although we were early our room was ready for us. Room was of average size but more than adequate for a weekend stay. Tv and wifi available....

Dear Fiona C, Good to hear you have found out about the 72 hours tram passes, as they are really convenient to use and it will save you allot of costs if your planning on exploring the entire city. It was a quick check in, obviously the manager does not check if the room is OK. It looks like the guest should do an assessment if all is well and up and running. I wish i could have a normal shower and i could

Never seen such a small hotel room: we couldn't even walk around the bed as a piece of furniture was in the way, against the bed due to the size of the room. Not a good price/quality ratio. Very good location though (right next to the museums).

Dear Antoinea659, I am very sorry to read about this experience with our hotel and the room size. Because we are based in the centre of Amsterdam, we are located in an old style Amsterdam building. While the building is not 100% of what you'd expect from a hotel the personnel does a great job in solving any issues. The location is great and the surrounding fantastic. Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
