After reading the reviews about this hotel, I went ahead a made a reservation. The check in process for this hotel was extremely quick and faultless. Now this would be the only positives about this hotel and I mean only. The first problem I encountered here was Wi-Fi, the hotel states that the Wi-Fi works through out the hotel and...

A very good location close to the main museums and at the same time close to the city center and the leidseplein in which are a lot of entertainment places. Only problem are the parking places as everywhere in the city

Hotel location is perfect for Amsterdam experience. This property has every thing you need to enjoy your vacation. Flexible check-in availability is a blessing as we have arrived in Amsterdam a bit early in morning but hotel stuff accommodated us happily. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Even for that Date the Price-Service Rating is terrible. Rooms are terrible narrow. Too much rooms for this charming building. For breakfast-rate of 12.5€ you have to pay for any extra, like Latte macchiato or cappu..

The location of this hotel is perfect. It's near to vondelpark, hard rock cafe, holland casino, museums and all this spots is just walking distance away from the hotel. The room at 5th floor (room 506) has a bigger space and also nice view of the canal opposite the road.

Great location, near to the Vondelpark and Rijksmuseum and about a half an hour walk to the train station. The room was small but clean and cosy. The bed was amazing so big and comfy! We paid to have breakfast one morning and it was excellent. Your usual Continental style but it was worth the money! Would definitely stay here...

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
