The staff are all so rude and dull, you try to ask for directions and they will just shrug their shoulders and carry on staring at the computer. Place is an absoulte joke. The private room we were in absoulte reeked! Of God knows what...More

The location of Aivengo is it's biggest drawcard. Located not a five minute walk from the central trainstation in Amsterdam, it's also walking distance from lots of main attractions and coffee shops. We booked a double bed room with ensuite and the room itself was...More

I stayed at the Aviengo Youth Hostel in Amsterdam for one night, though I had 3 booked. During the first night I could feel my bed (a top bunk) falling apart as I rolled around on the damp, moldy mattress. The person below complained of...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
    of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
