This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed! I have been to a lot of hostels in my life and I have never witnessed such an awful hostel! The pictures on the site are nothing like what they really are. I have seen better jail cells than this place. We got to our private room on the...

It is cheap but this it isn't a reason to do not clean toilette, showers and rooms at all. It is near the City Center bu believe me you don,t want to stay here. We were 4 people and they only gave us one key, previous 20€ deposit, so if you asked for more keys they will ask you for...

Having read a lot of bad reviews myself and my boyfriend were pretty sceptical but were pleasantly surprised by the room- it was small but clean and there werent any bedbugs. The hostel is loud, obviously, because its a hostel in the middle of Amsterdam but this wasnt a problem for us. The only downside was that upon checking out...

The worst experience of my life by far! Do not go! Do not! It's the worst "hotel" or even hostel I've ever heard of. You have to get your keys from a cafe full of teenagers getting stoned, which in hindsight was a red flag. The hostel itself is tiny with windy stairs that don't suit anyone larger than a...

We stayed in the hotel across the road and came here to the cafe a few times to chill. Basic inside but a warm welcome from the staff. Good prices, only serves non alcoholic drinks. Always seems to have a few people in there and we made it one of our last stops for a few evenings

Ok, I will admit I stayed here a few years ago so it might have changed since then, but it doesn't sound like it. I have fond memories of this place on my first trip to Amsterdam. Yes, it's a dive. It's dirty, it's cramped, but it's right in the red light district, there's a coffee shop downstairs, and the...

This hostel said to be a hotel in the title is absolutely terrible. The only good things I will say are that it is conveniently located, the Internet works well, and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. However, for the price we paid, which was far more expensive than for a nicer hotel in Paris, it is an absolute...

Stayed here for 2 nights, was a pleasant stay. You're above a coffeeshop which is a bonus as we went down there every morning, the staff are nice and chatty and the rooms were clean. Couldn't say anything bad about the hostel,

Clean and bright room. We were in the twin private room right at the top of the house. Due to utilising os space the stairs are very steep and twisting. I would recommend that for this place you only bring hand luggage. The first two flights have a handrail, the last does not requiring a lot of balance and a...

Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
