I stayed at this hotel for three nights after extending my stay in Amsterdam. Although the rooms are small, which was expected, there was sufficient space for all my needs. The hotel staff were super friendly and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was great- good assortment of cereals, fruit, yogurt, cheese, meat, bread, pastries, coffee, juice, tea. The hotel is...

I stayed for few days in the end of September. Amsterdam was my last stop in my Europe trip. Room was pretty small ( I booked standard room) but very clean and comfortable. Staff of the hotel was absolutely amazing! Everyone very nice and happy to help with everything. I got some good recommendations for dining and interesting places to...

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days with my partner. I would definitely visit again we stayed in a small double room which is ideal if you are planning on spending most of your time out and about. Room was spotless. The staff were lovely and friendly, hotel is in a great location for transport. Would highly recommend the...

Stayed here for a long weekend with my partner. We arrived early and the hotel looked after our bags whilst we went out for a few hours and also on our departure. Hotel is in a lovely neighbourhood, it's about a 10 minute walk from the bars & a few food places. The red-light district is about a 15 minute...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at hotel V Frederiksplein. We are only sorry to hear that it was not up to your expectations. There are 5 room categories (small, standard, large, xlarge and lofts) at Frederiksplein, so perhaps next time (should there be a next time) you can try one of the larger categories.

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel. The stuff are really friendly and helpful. Our standard room was small, nevertheless it was very cozy, and you really don't need a bigger room when you are out exploring Amsterdam most of the day. The shower was very good and the soap had a very good smell. The room was cleaned every...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. A small note about the soap- we created that signature smell ourselves! So we are very glad you like it. :) And we will pass on your feedback about the airconditioning to the management. See you next time!

I stayed at the Hotel V in December 2015 with a friend. We wanted to be central-ish but not right in the middle of all the nightlife. We stayed for four nights and had an amazing experience in Amsterdam. One night we attended a late night rave and got back to the hotel after all the food takeaways had closed!...

How lovely to hear that you were well taken care of. :) And that you gave the night porter some company for a little while as well. It's quite a lonely job sometimes. :) See you next time!

The employees were great and were always welcome to help. Breakfast was ok also. The room was clean. we came with only two small bags and there were more than enough space. The location was also fantastic. The price worth the money. Defiantly will stay here again. Sapir

I checked in for 2 nights on the hotest night if the year. Room 406 is at the top of building and is simple, basic and different from your chain hotels. Unfortunately with no AC and the fan that was supposed to be there but wasn't meant my first night was unbelievably hot! Downstairs is buzzy and well designed. The...

Apologies to hear that your room was hot and even more so that there was no fan in your room! Hope that you contacted the front desk about that during your stay so that they could get one up to you? Despite that, we are glad to hear that you had a good stay regardless, and hope to welcome you...

Stayed at the V from Thurs to Sunday with my son, who bought the trip as a 60th birthday present to me. This was a first of many trips we will make to this exciting and beautiful city. The hotel is exceptionally well placed for most tourist destinations, however if walking is difficult for you then go by tram which...
