Apart from the location there is nothing good about the hotel. Arrived at 9pm to a broken lift, and was told i am on the 5th floor. 3 Staff on, not one offered to carry bags. Went for breakfast next morning after being woken by the fire alarm, and was told it was 14 euro extra. No problem put it...

Nice hotel, nothing spectacular but adequate. Funky layout of rooms, family room not terribly convenient for small children. Crazy small bathroom. Breakfast was decent nothing special. Best part of the hotel was the location. Walking distance to train station and in the center of town. Perfect location.

First off, I'm American so my entire experience will come from that perspective. European hotels don't believe in extra towels or washcloths. So that's not something I can downgrade; but it's somewhat irritating. The bedding can't be beat. If you want comfortable, warm bedding - it's here. The breakfast is fantastic (especially the delicious eggs and bacon) and includes a...

Clean, comfortable room combined with helpful staff with impeccable English. This hotel is a stone's throw from St Bavo's church and a 15 minute walk from train and bus stations. It is surrounded by a wide choice of restaurants and moments from main shopping streets and tourist information office. The hotel lobby is full of old clocks, both grandfather and...

The Ambassador City Centre Hotel is in a fun location right next to restaurants and bars in the centre of Haarlem. It's also an easy walk from Haarlem Central Station, making for an easy connection to Amsterdam. The beds were super comfortable and while not a luxury hotel, our room (404) was spacious and clean. The shower room was not...

Staff was very good. Lift did not go to our level. Had to climb stairs that were very steep. Staff said they had washing machines but later informed us that they were for guests staying one month. Who stays one month???

Loved the location of the hotel. Very easy to get to everything. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by a very nice gentleman at the front desk who was very friendly and accomodating. He had been working there since December and was kind enough to answer all my questions. I met two female workers that were off...

€5,80 via train from Leiden Centraal about 21 minute train ride through the colourful fields alongside the train on both sides. Upon arrival, follow the signs to the Grote Kerk. Now as you walk around this massive Church, does not matter which direction you choose, you will find this Hotel welcoming you. A hot and cold buffet breakfast is offered...

Overall a clean comfortable room, but nothing special & far too warm, we stayed 4 nights, turning off heating on first day did nothing to cool it, window barely opens. The view from our room must be the worst I have ever seen. Good central location, but night staff fairly unhelpful & a bit rude? Didn't, breakfast here it seemed...

This hotel is right beside the cathedral in Haarlem, and is an ideal base for exploring the town. Our room was warm, clean and comfortable . We did not have any meals there but breakfast was available. The entrance hall is dated with dozens of clocks and other memorabilia cluttering it. There were also items of old furniture dotted around...

The monumental Ambassador City Centre Hotel is located in the historic heart of the city of Haarlem facing the St. Bavo Church. For city trippers this friendly hotel is an excellent choice. From the hotel, all the fun and interesting attractions can be easily reached. The train station is only a five-minute walk from the hotel. All rooms in the Ambassador City Centre Hotel*** are non-smoking. The stylish rooms are all marked by their unique interiors. A number of rooms also have a gorgeous view of the St. Bavo Church. The other rooms are at the rear of the hotel where you can rest peacefully in the heart of the city. The hotel offers all facilities you need for a weekend away or a long stay, for a leisure or a business trip.
