The Zeespiegel is very convenient for the town centre. An old hotel they have made the best of the layout but although the rooms are a good size the ensuite was tiny - no room to even dry yourself. One of our booked rooms was a single and was up an extremely steep set of stairs - the booking did...

We stayed here at the end of March and while not exactly beach weather this location was a great location to visit nearby Keukenhof Gardens and as we found after arrival a train station with 25 minutes direct to Amsterdam is an easy 10 minute walk through town. The room was large by European standards. I believe we requested the...

I stayed one night in the hotel in March 2016. At check in was welcomed by a barking dog, apparently belongs to the owners/manager. The dog was running around the hotel during my stay. Not sure how you feel, but having a dog in a hotel, especially a barking one really makes you feel unwelcome. I had to wait for...

I stayed her for one night on a recent trip and was very impressed with this very comfortable and friendly hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and made me feel very welcome. I stayed in a single room and found the room to be very clean and neat. The hotel was about a 5-10 minute walk to...

I have spent three nights in this little boutique Hotel and I really enjoyed it. Even though the rooms are very small, it was a very comfortable stay. The price was fair compared for what you get. There are certainly other hotels closer to the beach, but usually they cost 50% more and aren’t that welcoming. The staff/owner was very...

We spent 3 nights at this hotel. We were given a very warm welcome and a description of where things are in the town. Our room was pretty cramped as was the bathroom but as we were out most of the time it didn't matter too much. We had the option to have breakfast brought to our room and we...

We can only agree with the recent reviews of this hotel: It has indeed found new owners, who have renovated it with style and personal interest, and now is a charming boutique hotel complete with a talking parrot! The lovely family running the hotel is very helpful and friendly. Similar to other reviewers, we were always met with a "no...
