Spent two nights at Hotel Nieuw Minerva for King's Day 2016. Very helpful and attentive staff. Gave us a free upgrade to the bridal suite! Great room with lots of quirky/interesting touches. Very good breakfast.

Located in the centre in walking distance of all historical buildings. Staff always friendly and the rooms clean. I visited the hotel on different data. Always quiet nights. I think the breakfast and especially the coffee could be better.

The hotel is on a relatively quiet canal side in the very heart of the city, yet in easy walking distance of the station. The staff are very friendly, and helpful and the eclectic furnishing - much evoking the Dutch past - is generally comfortable. The hotel has been created from linking several houses together making for a differing levels...

This is a hotel in which every single room has a theme! There is a 'Rose Room,' a 'Blue Room,' a 'Garden Gnome Room', etc. It's charming! More than charming, it's a lovely place to stay, close to the train station and close to restaurants. The hotel staff is also very accommodating. They brought forward the time for breakfast on...

We had a wonderful experience at the Nieuw Minerva. We stayed for two nights during a conference and enjoyed the themed rooms and the hospitality. The hotel even changed the time of breakfast on Sunday morning for our group to accomodate an early departure. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed in the Rose Room which was spacious and very pleasant. Free wifi in the room. It would be vastly improved by the addition of coffee making facilities. The dining area of this hotel is beautifully decorated in an old fashioned way. The hotel has steep stairs, no elevator. Conveniently situated near the Rjiksmuseum.

Very nice little hotel. Smoking rooms on the top floor with your typical Dutch steep stairs to get there. Excellent wifi everywhere in hotel and very nice and friendly staff. Lovely reception area with loads of history. Great breakfast. Large building project going on next door at the moment but didn't hear a peep of noise in the hotel. Recommended....

A lovely, quirky, bike-friendly hotel, in an excellent location. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The bathroom attached to our room was wonderful - twin basins, a good-sized bath and a separate shower. Our room overlooked the canal, which provided plenty of interest for us to look at. There were lots of eating places nearby. We took a boat...

Stayed there during a dance festival back in August 2014. Booked for 4 nights and the room they gave me was a small room but very cozy. It has a single bed and near the window and sees the canal and the other houses. Breakfast was not bad as they provide the usual Dutch breakfast. Staff were very friendly and...
