I love the Kurhaus as an example of a great historical era in The Hague and that´s what is remains...... Since two years the owner is the Amrath group and what they did was only adding a spa (which is excellent). The fitness room is small and more a kind of windowdressing. By entering the hotel, I must say that...

Dear Mr Andrew, thank you for taking the time to write this review. I appreciate it a lot. We are continuously busy improving our service. Therefor I must say I am a bit surprised about the service in our restaurant. I have forwarded your improvement points to our Restaurant Manager. He wanted me to say sorry for what you have...

Lots of service people, but absolutely disorganized, no leadership visible. At arrival we experienced one hour delay in check-in, room was not available at 3 pm! At breakfast, poor service, unfriendly, a 5 star hotel with the behaviour of an "all-inclusive" low-price hotel in a poor quality country...

Visited in December so the beach promenade was a little cold, but the hotel was warm and friendly and the front desk service very prompt, friendly and helpful. It shows its age a little bit, but I hadn't been to Europe for a while and really enjoyed the visit. Try to get a "beach facing" room if possible... the town...

We stayed in 2 rooms (family of 5) for one night and even though the booking included an extra bed for our toddler, the rooms that we got were so small that the housekeeping staff struggled to put up the extra bed. Once it was up there was no room to move about. The front desk staff were welcoming and...

My wife an I stayed there for two nights around new year. When we arrived, around three in the afternoon our room was not ready. The floor leading to our room one hour later was ugly dirty. Not only hairs and sand on the carpet but releases of different liquids with unknown source. We told it to the reception and...

After one of three nights this hotel is rather stressful than relaxing. Nice view and a representative great hall with mostly friendly staff are the only positive points. However, the flaws are definitely nothing you would expect a in a '5-star-hotel'. For the check-in we had to wait at least 30 minutes. (Ok, a busy day we thought and carried...

My husband had stayed at this hotel many years ago, under previous owners. When we knew we'd be stopping at The Hague, we decided to go back, even though it was December and not beach season. We found the front desk service very prompt, friendly and helpful. Sadly, the hotel is a shadow of its glorious elegant past. The best...

We had our work xmas party here. The venue is extremely elegant, grand, spacious and at the same time very welcoming. The food was good (although in my humble opinion, not excellent) and the staff were professional and approachable. One of the best venues we have had for an xmas party. I cannot review a room as we (me and...

Amazing hotel. Great service and great food. The location is a bit far from city center but it has good restaurants near by. Team stop is across the road. Mini bar is free and staff are very nice, friendly and speak perfect English. Rooms are warm. Will definitely want to come back in summer to enjoy the beach.
