Friendly staff, very clean rooms and great buffet breakfast with a bus stop directly out front! The shower head was massive and such a relief after some of our precious accomodation. The Arie conditioning didn't work but the staff were very quick in resolving the issue for me Highly recommend 😊

Hotels in Brussels were prohibitively expensive. That's why I decided to stay in Mechelen, which is just a 30 min drive from Brussels. I stayed just one night, and left early. What struck me was that on Google Maps the area looked nice, but that I felt uncomfortable walking outside during night time. Further there is not a lot to... More

Business trip to Belgium - this was the recommended hotel - and very good too. Lovey setting by the lake, food very good - and great local beer. Breakfast is continental, but you'll never get a decent 'English' breakfast over the channel! But good strong coffee. Stylish and comfortable rooms too. Will use again on next visit

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting a customer nearby. The hotel is excellent and has recently been refurbished so all rooms are very nice and very clean. I booked the slightly more expensive rooms and they are worth the money. The room I had was large with a seating area and excellent bathroom. Beds were very comfortable and the... More

Just back from 3 days offsite in Mechelen. Quite impressed with the hotel for various reasons. The hotel is quietly located just out of the city center and a good pick for business or leisure stay. It’s located just between Brussels and Antwerp on 15 min from Brussels airport. The entire hotel and restaurant have recently been refurbished and everything... More

I just had the best dinner ever at Brasserie Montreal! Cowsy, good service, And food is worth a star! Excellent location, close to Zaventem Brussels airport, Mechelen business district and Antwerp. So relax with view over the beautiful pond!

Comfortable hotel in a quiet suburban street. Lovely grounds overlooking a lake. Rooms clean & comfortable with limited faciliites - no internet or minibar. Sometimes difficult to find a member of staff & they don't do room service. The main attraction of the hotel is its restaurant, which is said to be the best in town and serves quite sensational... Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This charming hotel in Mechelen has a completely different atmosphere. First of all: it’s located in a 6ha park with a 4ha pond in it, which makes it Mechelen’s only nature hotel. It’s a small, independent place and it was just completely renovated. On the ground floor, there’s a classy brasserie and a big terrace by the water to enjoy. The meeting facilities are surprisingly large compared to the number of rooms. A wonderful venue to stay in a peaceful atmosphere, and a good place to invite people for business & pleasure. ... more   less
